Even though Jung, who owns Hannah's Dressmaker, speaks Korean and her second language is English, she knew what I was trying to say. I had read at the reviews (which are 90% negative) but decided to go here anyways because it was a simple hole needing to be done and this place is close to my house. When I came to pick it up on Saturday at noon, I was given a pair of white pants instead. I explained to the manager that I had brought in a black shirt, not white pants. They told me there must've been a mix up and after 5 minutes of half-assed "searching" for my shirt in their tiny shop, told me they couldn't find it, and someone may have gotten it instead. Then they went back to their sewing machines, leaving me standing there with no compensation!!! I explained to them that this shirt needed to be ready for tonight and had cost me $50! The manager said that nothing could be done unless I brought in a receipt for the shirt when I purchased it. Who keeps a receipt for a shirt from a year ago?? She basically told me that without the receipt I was SOL. After getting more upset, she told me that she would reimburse me up to $50 if I bought a new shirt (soo weird!!!) and so I did. She gave me $50 back. Then the next day she calls me and says she has found my shirt so I come in (Monday) to pick it up and she tells me that since she has already reimbursed me for the shirt, I can't have it anymore, and the shirt will be sent to head office!!!! WHAT?!? I ended up get in touch with the District Manager for the Western Division (can't remember her name) and she was very kind and told me that I could come pick up the shirt the next day, and keep my reimbursed $50. Despite the situation eventually being resolved I will never deal with this place again!! With the exception of the district manager, the manager of the store and its employees are so rude and don't seem to give a shit about customer service. Terrible and frustrating experience.
