For example, a small percentage of the congregation raises their hands during worship. (I have not heard anyone speak in tongues, but there are probably some there who do.) I would say that 90% of attendees/members range in age from 18-30. So, the praise and worship music is contemporary. The worship team rotates musicians and singers in and out every so often, and I think that is excellent because it gives more people opportunities to serve. They all do fantastic jobs. The pastor is excellent. His Biblical messages are well-organized and thought out. Sometimes he uses unconventional methods to get his points across. I think this is very effective with a young congregation. During the school year, services are PACKED. So, get there early.

*** beautiful chapel in Hot Springs, AR ***…read more On the very warm mid-morning of July 20, 2025, my daughters, our dog, and I took the short route from downtown Hot Springs over to Garvan Woodland Gardens. There is an admission fee to view the gardens, but not to view the Anthony Chapel. It was quiet. Charming. Mostly clean grounds. Such a breathtaking sight in the middle of the woods. Dogs were not permitted inside the chapel, so my lovely 12-year-old photographer daughter captured some images for me. Highly recommend for architecture lovers.

But there are a lot of neat bridges, architectural pieces, and bodies of water. Pretty koi pond with HUGE fish. Fun sculptures. The Anthony Chapel is beautiful. Built as a joint venture of inside and outside/wilderness. A must see. The staff were kind and super helpful. Entrance into the garden proper is around 20 dollars, but the chapel and bell tower are free. Plenty of parking. Lots of places to rest. Fairly accessible for the disabled.

Everyone in the church genuinely cares for each other and you can just tell in your spirit. The worship is great and the teaching is rich and life giving. Our kids have learned so much about Jesus and made great friends in the children's ministry, and my wife and I look forward to Men's ministry and Women's ministry nights once a month (plus some awesome retreats)! What Grace Hills, with Pastor Brandon at the helm, has done is create a sense of just how powerful a working relationship with God can be, and how it impacts everyday life. Now, and a little more each week, I find myself turning to God as a real being, who really cares what happens to me and all His children. Brandon gives practical, positive messages about an active experience of God's love. He makes it real, without judgment or threats of wrath. The church has a friendly, comfortable atmosphere, that welcomes everyone. This is the best church I've ever been to.
