I was stranded in Meredith with a broken down car hours from home and needed a ride to the auto shop from the motel. I called and was told they might be able to give me a ride.. in 2 hours. Was this because nobody was available currently? No. "Only 2 drivers available right now, and I need them available for other customers until 10am". You absolute buffoon of a business owner.. I AM YOUR CUSTOMER. Nevermind how offensive that was to hear that I'm not a prioritized customer, but it's January in a summer lake town.. what other kind of customers on a Monday morning do you think you're getting? Guy sounded like me asking to give money for the service he offers was an inconvenience. Absolute doofus. Only reason I called was because their business card was in the bnb I was staying at. If I had seen all the endless 1 star reviews here, I never would have. I have instructed the bnb to remove the business cards and replace them with the lovely gentleman at another taxi service who was able to come immediately with a friendly attitude and helpful advice. Nobody should ever bother calling this business ever again, they clearly don't enjoy providing the very service they claim to offer, and cannot simply be a decent human to any of their customers going back for years. Find a new way to make money or learn to be better humans, dudes.
