The staff are great, the location is very convenient if you live in Clifton/Northside, and they are very caring for the children. The dropped is easy and secure, away from the main road. We are very picky parents, and this is a solid choice for a daycare, that many people don't know about yet.

Architectural gem in Cincinnati. The only building in the…read morearea designed by renowned architect, Frank Gehry. As many of his buildings, it possesses a folded winding asymetrical facade with a mix of materials, mostly glass, steel, and, quite surprisingly, bricks. This is, unlike most of his projects, a less bold and quite mellow project. Many people refer to it as a deconstructed barrel. If you are familiar with Gehry's work and style, you will still instantly recognize his genius here. Because it is a University of Cincinnati's building housing research laboratories, the original project, that included much more external steel and glass, was toned down. Personally, I find it sad that they chose Gehry to design a research building, which by its nature requires straight angles and enforced walls for a lot of equipment. I feel the practicality of this project forced Gehry to compromise a lot of his vision, and yet it is still a distinct and focal point of the medical campus. The building undergoes some exterior renovation at this time, but once in the area, don't forget to check it out and see the interior as well. Since it houses the Vontz Center for Molecular Studies, there are a lot of active cancer research labs inside and access indoor may be restricted. The gallery presenting life and work of Albert Sabin, the inventor of oral polio vaccine, is also there in the main hall. Happy to see this beauty on campus almost daily. I drive by this place each day on my way to work and always imagine how nice it would be to stop in…read moreand worship there. Yesterday (Sunday) I needed to work and on my way saw that the congregation was on their way in. People were smiling and conversing and it appeared they were very much pleased to be attending. Work was complete early yesterday so on my way home I stopped in for evening service. Come to find out I was about 30 minutes early but I went in anyway and mingled with some of the gentlemen who apparently came early to do just that. Very friendly and personable folk there. As others came in, I was greeted warmly by each one as they passed and never even realize that I was wearing a ball cap and smelly jeans (from working that day). These people were the real thing! The lesson was well thought out and came from Acts 4:5-14. The title could have been "What's in a name." The Worship Leader pointed out 6 things found in the name of Jesus (Authority vs. 5-7, Ability vs. 8-10, Acceptance vs.11, Adequacy vs.12, Amazement vs.13 and Absolve vs. 14). I believe this was part of a series in that only the first was covered, but notes were available for further study so that worked out well. This was interactive and a couple of the scripture verses shared by those attending were Romans 5:2, and Galatians 6:9 both appropriate for the topic. I left the church with re-newed hope feeling as though I had been administered to by the Holy Spirit. Thank you Cold Springs for being faithful ... even to a stranger who was wearing a ball cap in doors and smelling of hot dogs. : ) I would recommend you to anyone who is in need of Christian fellowship and craving Audible Words from God (the bible read out loud). This is where I went to high school and what a time I had here…read more As the other reviewer stated the education was top notch and the teachers were great and really cared and mentored about life after school for the real world experience. Of course this review has to include something about the Pit, It was voted by USA Today as one of the best high school stadiums in the US to watch a football game. The atmosphere here is the best, as alumni arrive early and tailgate on nearby streets and houses. Every Cincinnatian should attend at least one football game at the Pit.

Passing by, St. Ursula Villa hardly looks like a school; it's more like an old castle. Little do…read moreCincinnatians know that this building was once home to R.K. LeBlonde, a legend in the Queen City's machine tool industry. LeBlonde built his mansion in 1913. European heritage is prominent throughout the structure, such as lead peaked windows and a stone exterior. While some renovations have been needed, I was pleased to see most of the original home untouched and intact. LeBlonde lived in the house until his death in 1953. Afterwards, the property was willed to the Archdiocese and became St. Ursula Villa in the 1960s. St. Ursula Villa is a beautiful landmark rich in Cincinnati history. Since this is a private school, the most respectful time for viewing is on the weekends when classes are not in session.

This review pertains to the archives that the Hebrew Union has and their staff, and not to the…read morecollege itself. During my junior year in the history program at the University of Cincinnati, we visited the Hebrew Union College to learn about their archives and how to do archival research for our junior topics research paper, a sort of precursor to our senior paper.I think it should be mentioned that the HUC does have some free parking in their lot and that you have to be buzzed in at the door to get inside due to security issues. Once inside, it becomes obvious that a lot of money and time has gone into making this building a state of the art, modern research center. During our visit, we were taken to a lecture room and given a talk on etiquette among other things, which was very reminiscent of some of the nicer rooms I have been in on the UC campus. However, what really stood out to me was how nice their archives and archival library were. Not only was the lady working at the desk extremely friendly, the space itself was spacious and definitely welcoming to people of all ages and backgrounds who were interested in learning about history by using primary documents. It should be noted that many of their documents are actually NOT related to the American Jewish experience as well and that they cover a wide variety of topics. Although I feel that the Hebrew Union College probably deserves more than three stars, I am refraining giving them more until I have a chance to come back and visit this wonderful research institute and its museum that we have right in our own back yard. My son just completed his second session with Happy Feet. We found them because there aren't many…read moreactivities for 2 year olds and they start as young as 18 months. This is my experience in Little Toes; I think the experience for older kids is pretty different. Our first session was on Sunday mornings alternating 9 am and 10 am. There were only about 7 kids playing at once, so it wasn't too bad when a few of them weren't listening, etc. We liked that our son was playing with new kids and learning team work, and enjoyed it enough to sign up a second time. This session, we did Saturday mornings at 9 am and they had way too many kids. I'd estimate there were at least 15 kids (maybe more) when everyone was there and it was just way too many. While everyone seems very nice, some of the coaches just aren't as loud and can't wrangle the kids as well. Coach Ben had a great rapport with the kids and seemed to get them into the activity better. One thing that is frustrating with this age group is the amount of parents who go on the field and don't let the Happy Feet coaches do their job. They follow their kids around or just stand on the wall, get in the way to take photos from the field, and so on. We get an email each week from Happy Feet asking the parents to stay off the field unless their kid really needs them, but it is ignored by some. I counted seven parents on the field today and it becomes a safety issue at that point with everyone going in different directions. Now that our son is older, I think we'll try some other programs, but we were glad to have had the experience and glad Happy Feet gets started with such young toddlers.
