As soon as we stepped into WMS we felt at home. We visited many other schools in the area and we found we compared every single one to WMS. We have never looked back. WMS is not just a school it's a community. I've never felt so welcomed anywhere in my life. Every parent, student, teacher, and faculty member has always been extremely nice to us. Most importantly they care for my girl as I would for her myself. They supply her with a place she feels safe, welcomed, and cared for. Because of this she has learned so much, gained so much confidence, and my shy girl has become such a social butterfly. There is nothing better than to hear the excitement in her voice when she shares her dat with us. Each of her teachers have gone above and beyond for her. When she first started and was nervous to interact with her peers her teachers would help "break the ice" with group play on the playground. When she would fight her naps they would rub her back until she falls asleep. When she has shown interest in learning more they have gone out to being in more materials on a subject they know she would love to learn about. When she's had days of not wanting to leave my side they have given her hugs and consoled her until she is calm and ready to start her day. I'm a "worrier" of a Mom and to know that she's in such great hands gives me tremendous peace. I could continue to go on and on about how amazing WMS is and that you should definitely send your children here, but my words can never convey how truly amazing this school and community is to us. Please take a visit, go to a open house, and I assure you'll see just how remarkable this school is too!

However, our child was unhappy at this location almost instantly. We noticed a complete change in her eating, sleeping, demeanor and overall attitude from the get go. At this time, my wife and I decided to give a closer look to what was happening. Our kid was dropped off in a room with a hodge podge of kids of other ages which seemed to be unnecessary and increased our child's overall anxiety to start the day. From there we observed on several occasions just an overall lack of care from the staff. One instance in particular, we observed a care giver chatting with other employees while our child sat on her lap crying without any soothing from her at all. This was very unsettling to say the least. I think this is a very popular daycare but from our 1 month experience I can't for the life of me understand why. 2 stars. There's better places out there in my opinion.

The school has a wonderful security system and all the teachers communicate with walkie-talkies. They have a beautiful playground and each class participates in music & gym specials. This facility does not have your child's safety in mind and administration takes zero…read moreaccountability! My child was bit a total of five times in one week (4 times in one day with a deep bite breaking skin and required 3+ weeks to heal and another bite 2 days later). The meeting with the owner included victim blaming and he was accusatory, and condescending. He recommended that OUR child move down a class with a smaller ratio since she hasn't met walking milestones even though cognitively she belonged in that class. He then said that "maybe she isn't ready for a group daycare setting" when she was the one that was bitten (see another Yelp reviewer who experienced the same). And finally, he said that maybe we should look at a nanny service since we were "looking to control the situation". We placed our daughter in this daycare to obtain social skills and be with peers. We care about our child's safety and advocated that something be done. Their response was that they meet state mandated ratios and that no further actions will be done. He then has the audacity to ask if we have degrees in child behavior or development and that this is normal child behavior. This is absolutely condescending to any parent's legitimate, justified feelings and concern for their child's wellbeing. We are empathetic to children learning and growing and that these things do happen, but it was the severity and frequency of these biting occurrences that worried us. He continued to gaslight us that we were overreacting and that this is normal child behavior. They were "implementing a behavior plan" but could not provide us any substantial, tangible plan that our daughter would not come back with another bite. In fact, he said it's bound to happen again. Very reassuring. If you value your child's safety and want a daycare that takes accountability, responsibility, and makes you feel welcome, you will not find it here.

That location had an excessive churn of staff, shady characters sometimes hanging out outside, and lax reporting of incidents like minor injuries. But I didn't realize how bad it was until we came here. This Concord Plaza facility feels secure--it's tucked away in a quiet part of an office park, and adults must put a code in to enter the building. The teachers are a mix of seasoned pros and newer ones, making it feel like there is a solid pipeline to train and retain talent. There is a big green space at the front where parents and kids often hang out to play and socialize after school, giving it a community vibe. Some logistics: if you're interested in taking a tour or getting on the wait list (a few months, was not unreasonable), contact the main number for the regional office. You may also be able to get info about the Bright Horizons at Nemours (I think longer wait list if you're not staff). This location serves snacks and milk but requires you to pack lunch; honestly for the cost saving, I didn't mind packing lunch. My kids were very prepared for the next steps of their learning journeys after attending this Bright Horizons. I'm especially grateful for the care and communication from the teachers here.
