It's sort of weird to review a church. But as I was searching foe places in Emily, this popped up. Well, the priest here is about to retire. He's a close, close family friend. He has lived with my mother in law (and my late father in law) for decades. He will retire this month after 50 years of service. He's one of those great non-judgemental Catholic priests. He made this church great. My mother in law used to run the choir until she moved a few years ago. Now the music reminds me of bad karaoke. Unfortunately in the entrance there are all these anti-abortion posters. At least no official homophobia. The congregation seems pleasant and typically small town. It'll be interesting to see what will happen after Father Spors leaves.... read more
