Very uneducated as far as preaching from the Old testament. He CLAIMS he doesn't want to see any cliches in the church, but he is the biggest one of all. I went there for 2 or 3 years. I enjoyed it because they don't sing all worship songs, they have a mix of hyms & worship songs. Proclaiming to be a pastor he sure is a dirty old man. There isn't a little girl or a woman between 5 and 105 that he won't check out when he thinks they're not looking. Could be Alzheimer's or maybe Parkinson's disease also. Don't despair, there are true pastors that really care about people getting the real gospel without trying to scam them in the process.

Fair warning: the building is not a traditional shape, we don't kneel and we don't own an organ. We don't have many traditional statues, but we do have lovely sacred art all over the place. If those things are high on your list, I would say you should still check us out, just be forewarned. This is a vibrant community where we love and worship God, care for each other and reach out beyond our walls. We are a lively bunch, which some guests have called irreverent. But, we work to see Christ in each person, and when Christ is standing right next to us, we just have to talk to him or her!! We are quite dedicated to the teachings and callings of Vatican II (Don't worry, every now and then we sneak in a little Latin just so we don't loose our beloved traditions). We believe in and act on the Church's teachings on Social Justice, we study Holy Scripture, we adore the Blessed Sacrament, say the Rosary, and we strive to care for God's Creation. You will hear music played on piano, violin, bass, flute, handbells and some brass, percussion, guitar, and maybe a sax now and then - those are the gifts of our parishioners, and we cherish them. There are more volunteer areas than you could ever take part in, and you as a volunteer are welcome and needed. Come and worship with us at Pax. You and yours are welcome.

We were visiting the area on a Sunday. We came to this church because a family member goes here. We…read morewere warmly greeted upon arrival. The lobby is large. There is a bookstore and a cafe counter. The chapel is large with adequate seating. The service began with worship music. The music was contemporary, and the words were projected on a big screen. This week there was a guest speaker. This church is solidly Christian and preaches from the Bible. I will be returning to this church again while visiting.

The church helped me grow my faith one hundred fold. After awhile I started to realize that the congregation was not as friendly to a single mother. The parent small groups are all married couples and certain people were not that kind. They have a great single moms group. The leader is caring and helpful. The single moms are exceptional. Yet most of the moms don't attend church. In the end, I felt alone in my journey to be with God.

I used to visit this church as a child with my Mother in the 90's, so it was a little nostalgic to wonder around the church and recognizing places I visited decades ago. The conference was three days and I attended 2 of 3. Friday night was praise and worship and the word that was brought forth by Pastor Tims. The praise and worship team were in sync and they definitely brought the praise with the worship; I had agreat time! They had the words of the song listed on the walls, so that I can sing along, if I wasn't familiar. I met very friendly people, a lot were very personable. The church had a wonderful lighting and display. The brunch on Saturday was amazing! Well served, good food and the message on both days was delicious to my spirit. Surprisingly, the brunch and entire event was FREE! Kudos to the Pastor, who was present for both days. I will visit more conferences.
