The owner was actually out there helping seat, serve, and take orders. He also recommended and described dishes in great detail. The atmosphere is also nice, its modern decor and prefect size made everything even better. The food was absolutely delicious. The steak literally melted in your mouth. You could cut the steak with your fork it was that tender! I had a 300g Rib Eye, Green Beans, and a Baked Potato. The green beans looked like they had been cooked on a grill and bathed in herb butter. The wine that was recommended was just the cherry on top. Prices are reasonable for a steakhouse and you could get a good steak for under 20€. I would defiantly recommend this place and will also be returning several times! It's a hidden gem in Hamburg since it's not on any main walkway or near any train stops but still very easy to find. Everyone should check it out.

We tried to order the steaks medium rare but the steaks were more on the rare side. That was fine by me, the flavors of the steak still came out very well. The ambiance is really nice, as its a bit darker inside and they have candles on all the tables. There seemed to be a birthday going on at a couple of tables away from us. It was really cute, they turned up the music and served the birthday boy dessert with a whole bunch of sparklers in it. Not sure if the family arranged that or if the restaurant does that usually for birthdays but it was cute. At the end of your meal, its nice that that they also offer you a little after dinner drink.
