Everyone at the church was incredibly friendly and welcomed me into their congregation with open arms. The music is great and I've never seen people so passionate during the praise and worship. Moving here from a large city I was happy to see that the congregation is diverse by race, age, and all other demographics. Give the church a try. I think you'll love it!

The church allows NO eulogies, the church picks the reading, the church picks the music and there are no questions asked about the deceased prior to the mass. The priest misprononced by name, asked me if my brother was sick and who took care of him. This was just before he started the sermon. The priest talked for a half hour about his own 95 year old mother. Adam and Eve, what the purpose of the incense are and how the romans defecated on Jesus. No surprise never tied any of this back to my brother since there was no way of doing that. NEVER talked about my brother or the struggles he had in his life. No surprise since they don't want to know. I was embarrased to say I was once a Catholic and my brother had been Catholic going to church regularly until he became sick. I had not been back since Father Safici left and will certainly not go back now. Isn't the church there to console you and comfort you during a difficult time. This church certainly does not do that.
