I have a heart on for pub food in general but I am pretty judgey about said food. I like their selection on wing flavours, big props for breaking out of small town isolation standards! I'm a beef dip fanatic, and theirs is 4-5 star. So I actually love the food. Consistently delightful. The service is pretty terrible. The servers mostly can't recommend a f* king thing. They're not attentive. I chewed my cheeks giving the last one even the most mediocre tip. They are young. And no one can tell them they're wrong. The atmosphere is kinda gag worthy. The outside looks like a budget speakeasy that people go when they're drunk already. The inside is poorly planned and laid out. If you choose a table hoping for a quieter place with some privacy, you may very well get a pool cue in you eyeball. Overall, props to the talented chefs. And some advice to those running front of house. PS there was one young girl who greeted us and took our drink orders and she was fabulous. Young dark girl.
