I went there to support a friend's Baptism for the first time ever visiting his church. The people seemed kind, humble and welcoming. The preacher was talking about how hard it will be to be a Christain and follow Christ daily. He reflected on how worldly things we put away to be renewed in Christ. The music was moving and the preacher had tattoos. He seemed very honest and humble in his journey of sharing. The place was packed with people. After my friend got dunked and baptized, I decided to get baptized too-it was like the holy spirit touched me and to publicly account for my dedication to Christ. We ended up moving so this church was pretty far from us. This past Christmas we attended an event they had. It was very cute. The greeters were all very friendly and very very welcoming! I loved seeing the new buildings that were built since the last time I've visited. It was nice to see that this church is expanding and doing more than just hold church services. We would love to come back to visit again!

There's a little section separate from the main church where you can bring your "noisy" children in and still hear the service. I like it here and it's pretty. I have attended numerous of Pastor David's services over the last 20 years. The church is one big…read morefamily. Every time I come, I see a good chunk of the same people that were there all those years ago. David really breaks down the word of god well. He also enters some comedy into his message that keeps the mood light in the room. If you cannot attend the service in person, it is uploaded onto Facebook and YouTube. New Joy comes highly recommended in my book.
