If not, Open Range Fellowship is the place to worship on Thursday nights. Dennis Aaron, a retired Shreveport Fireman is the pastor. The church is also called "Cowboy Church" but you don't have to wear a hat and boots and if you come straight from the field or directly from the road in your jeans and t shirt, you will be dressed appropriately. The quartet offers some of the best Southern Gospel singing since the Gaithers and Cathedrals--I am serious! No offering is begged for, but if you fell led to give, there are boxes to drop your money in as you leave. Bring a can of food early to reserve your seat while you go feed your face in the lunchroom. Youth services are on Sunday night. There is a rodeo arena out front.

I came here for a wedding and would consider coming here to check out a service based on my conversation with the minister during the reception. She was a really nice woman who was openly gay. One note, if you're planning on taking pictures during a wedding or event with those giant windows in front of you. Good luck! All that natural light drowns out the subject in the forefront. You'll need a giant flash to capture the people in front of the windows!
