The liturgy was beautiful - lots of prayers, hymns, Scripture reading, a sermon and partaking in Holy communion. The church building architecture is absolutely stunning, drawing your eyes up toward the heavens. It's very reverent, and makes you feel small...but that's the point when you're in the presence of our mighty and Holy God! It's the FIRST church to be built in Kenosha. Really neat history.

I highly recommend the Easter Vigil service, held on a Saturday evening (but considered to be the first Easter Service). You enter the church in darkness but soon candles are lit, and later bells are rung (everyone brings a little bell). There is such joy! Don't miss the stained glass windows....the large ones represent the life of Christ and the smaller ones represent a saint for each century since 33 A.D. Don't let the image of the enslaved man in chains startle you.. that is part of a special window which represents the "Evils of Modern Times" .

They are going for a more inclusive name that people would be drawn to. The church is one of those mega churches. Has a cafeteria, coffee shop, bookstore, multiple children areas, a gym, and chapel and huge sanctuary where they put on almost Broadway level productions free to the public to spread the word about God. They have some of the friendliest people there. From the greeters to members to staff everyone just has a pleasant spirit and makes you feel welcomed. I don't know what there ordinary services are like but their Christmas and Easter productions are spectacular, have been going for years.
