I've tried this church on 4 occasions now. I still have no idea who is in charge, who the pastor…read moreis, nothing. Then, last Sunday the person preaching who I believe is the youth pastor was completely "off" regarding the Bible's teaching about Israel's history. I called to asked him to help me understand and he became super defensive instead of explaining what he meant. He couldn't even tell me who what "in charge", how he came to interpret the Bible the way he does, etc. I honestly was simply trying to find a place for my family to attend church, understand what the Bible teaches and it's sad that I wasted 4 Sundays here to learn that they have no idea who they are. They spend 10+ minutes last Sunday asking for money, and I was thinking, "I don't have problem giving but I have no idea what I am giving to". How disappointing.

There are always opportunities to serve, whether within the church, or within the community. The support of missions is such a huge part of Crossover, that tithing feels great. It feels like a big family. Kids? Yes. Yes. And yes. My kids love Crossover. The classes are age based and fun. Sermons? Engaging, enlightening, and full of tough love. Pastor Terry is such a great teacher, leader, and man of God. Adults? Absolutely! Young and old. There are classes to choose from, and some are specifically geared toward women, men, college ages, new couples, and married couples... you can jump around to find the right fit. If you're coming for the first time, just let the first person you see know that you've not been before, and watch the love envelope you.

I THOUGHT THIS CHURCH WOULD BE DIFFERENT, BUT IT'S NOT…read more IT'S A BUSINESS AND SOCIAL GROUP THAT PLAYS FAVORITES BASED ON WHO TITHES AND HOW MUCH. What church of God would allow a 60 yr godly woman, to live in her car (no longer now) no fault of her own, with no concern at all...Yes, they helped me with my car, but the pastor Jeromy out of fear, told me I couldn't park in their HUGE PARKING LOT, next to the woods (I have a dog) because the neighbors/Karens complained for no reason...All I did was sleep in it 2 times a week there because the 7th day church, had services those days. Jesus said, "They shall know you are my disciples, if you have LOVE ONE FOR ANOTHER"...They failed God's many tests. So, instead of showing God's love to one of their own, they chose Satan's children, and obeyed them, due to fear of what they thought, not what God thought. What a bad witness and testimony most pastors are today...:( I went to 3 bible study groups 3 xs for 2 months during the week, and NOT ONE person or leader cared about my siituation, never asking me if I needed anything, only once was I prayed for, because it seems church people ONLY CARE about those with physical ailments, even if those illnesses were brought on by one's own poor personal lifestyle choices or what 1 Cor 11 says, not being accountable for sin. Evidently in most people's minds these days, living in ones car is normal...WTH? They also play favorites, based on who are the pastors friends and who tithes the most...Because ever leader I saw, was ungodly (prideful) self absorbed, and even worldy as their fakebook profiles verified. They basically treated me (and I look good, so does my car and dog) like a nobody, who didn't deserve to be EDIFIED, and that my gifts and talents were of no concern to them. Unlike most so called believers today, if I'm able to help someone meet their full portential, especially when they ask, I HELP THEM ANY WAY I CAN...I was totally ignored...I've even taken 10 strangers into my homes, when I had them over the years. I am an amazing literary writer of bible truths and an amazing proffessional quality percussionist. (started at 50 and have been on stage in Sac Ca...Ms Tambo) Yet the pastor, whose a muscian refused to allow me to use my musical gift, when ironically, he preached for over a month on SPIRITUAL GIFTS and TALENTS....HYPOCRITE!!! Doctrinally, he was wrong on 3 bible truths as well. When he and others were finally confronted on their sins of OMMISSION, they refused repent.
