Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and the message was so good. I left here feeling uplifted and inspired. Since I was visiting Orlando for a few days I was only to attend the Sunday service but they do have so have midweek Bible study. Parking was hard to find because we got there late and it was packed! After six months and feeling like the Israelites​ wandering in the desert​. We still had not found a place to call home​. Finally,​ we buckled down and made the resolution that in 2019 we MUST feel that God was calling us to the church during our first attendance. Low and behold January 7th we stepped into Celebration and never looked back. I mean come on with a belief system of: We are all about Jesus. We are welcoming. We are authentic. We are diverse. We are intentional. We are faith-filled. We are participators. We are generous. We are others-focused​. Where can you possibly go wrong? Anywho onto the main points. Currently,​ the church is meeting at two locations of Howard Middle in downtown and Edgewater High in College Park. The vision is to be good financial stewards and raise enough capital for a permanent location. Get ready to be seriously welcomed at our church from the parking lot all the way to when you leave. Let's​ talk about​ safety. Children's​ ministry has a police officer always on duty at the entrance along with two other officers and tons of security from all backgrounds of life spread randomly throughout the church. Doors are locked at all times and check-in and check-out procedures for children are tight-knit with identification badges out before you can even go in the direction of children's​ ministry. Don't​ have little ones? No biggie there is Sub 30 available for young adults and RIOT. RIOT is a place where middle and high school teens can hear a message geared specifically for their audience. More importantly,​ they can meet during the week for groups​ intentionally​ designed with them top of mind. You can tell when a message is truth when you're​ turning the pages of your bible or looking at the verse available on the projector often. Come prepared to read from the bible and unpack it with our pastors, the Phillips. Don't​ forget to get your weekly dose with community groups. Celebration​ understands we shouldn't do life alone and we have nailed down all sorts of groups from coffee to fitness, and even brunching on how we can spread the word of God. All in all,​ I'm sure you can tell that Celebration is not just a church. We are one big loving family.

There are signs and welcoming people everywhere to help direct you (parking is right in front of the school and never too crowded). It just honestly feels like home and that you belong with no judgments. It's non-denominational with outstanding pastors that are genuinely caring people who will talk to you after service. You would NEVER guess this church is located in a middle school because they dress up & transform this beautiful building so much. The worship is so talented/AWESOME and very different than anything I've ever experienced... I feel like I should be paying to get in, that's how great it is! I also feel extremely safe because they have security and deputies everywhere. Did I mention the free coffee yet? Yep, free and delicious coffee from Credo. They also invite the homeless in and treat them so well, it makes me feel honored to go here. It's definitely a trendy scene with lots of young people but they have groups and other opportunities for every age and every walk of life. They do so much for the community and it's members with Jesus being at the center. They have so many ways to get connected so you don't get lost in the crowed, which usually happens in big churches. I am forever grateful to find my church home that makes doing life alone impossible. If you're in Orlando on a Sunday you've gotta check this place out! It has made more of an impact on my life than I can imagine. God is doing big things here and I'm so grateful that I get to be a part of it.

Honestly, I am not a…read morefan of anything that has the word "church" in it, as it denotes the imposition of ideas and beliefs on others, whether with persuasion, or by force and violence. I am against ALL of that. Let people decide what is best for them. For me, as an example, I will not let people define me by the constraints of a book, holy or not. That is actually insulting to me. But I understand the use of the word "church" for these non-affiliated organizations. It is purely a financial decision, and it qualifies them for a tax exemption. I can accept that. Sometimes you have to join them in order to defeat them. I came here for an event called "111 Tibetan Healing Bowls". This is the 3rd time this event as been offered at this location. I had been wanting to join them ever since, so it was kind of like a dream come true. It is funny that the person leading the "concert" is called Dr. Dream. He and his fiance Stephanie run the show. This event is pretty layered actually, focusing on chakras and energy, anchoring the sounds of the healing bowls on each one of the 7 chakras (they use a 7 chakra system from Hinduism). After that sound portion, they pass around flavored chocolate and rub essential oils on your wrists while Dr. Dream or Stephanie talk about the specific chakra being targeted. This goes on for all 7 chakras. What can I say? Amazing. I love chocolate, essential oils, and Tibetan bowls. I had a fantastic time anchoring the energy and being around people who are open minded to these types of experiences. It is actually fun to hear people who have healed their ailments just by using the fragrance of essential oils! Or how people have healed just by using sound therapy. This is nuts! After the event, you can buy Tibetan bowls that are for sale. This money goes back to Tibet and/or Nepal, to help families over there (there's been earthquakes, the whole planet is shaking). They also sell the Heart Chakra oil, which is a Rose oil and it's the only one they manufacture. All other oils are from the big brands which luckily are community builders, like Yelp. I didn't get a bowl ($$$), but I got some of that Rose oil, because when they anointed me with it, I got a vision of Mother Mary and she had a red rose in her hand. So, if that oil not only produces visions but also brings Mother Mary, I am buying it! To summarize, I had a good time, made friends, received extensive information, healed (we always need a boost), ran into old acquaintances, picked up a precious gift (Rose oil w/ Mother Mary included), and got to meet Dr. Dream finally. Also, this congregation has events monthly, so I also benefit from being in their newsletter. Win/win for me. I AM BLESSED! And so are you.

There is something so majestic from the setting to the music, and the people about this place that will always stick with me( I felt free and weight lifted off my shoulders-no judgement) From the warm welcoming with live music, they had a Pastor and his wife from Hawaii and other prophets like Haiti, Jamaica, and Africa. My first time in a church in years, and I never stand up, but I did. We prayed. Many things that were said will always stick with me. Powerhouse serves dinner at 5:30pm on Wednesday before the service, and breakfast. I live in NY, so it's different to see community come together in such a warming place. A church who wants to see members grow as individuals and genuinely does it has my count. I'll be there next time I'm in town.
