My son is been attending this school for 3 years now and we absolutely love them. All the teachers are amazing, the principal is one of the best I've ever met and the staff in general are very kind and welcoming. St. Matthias is hands down #1. I can say that from first hand experience as an alumnus of the school. I am also lucky enough to say that my kids currently attend and i wouldn't have it any other way. I feel so safe dropping my kids off every day knowing they are safe at all times. The teachers and staff are nothing short of amazing and treat our kids as their own. Would never again enroll any of my kids into this place, I was contacted by the school and urged to leave a 5 star review about it and honestly the fact that it might close was the best news I heard ALL YEAR!!! One of the students apparently brought a knife to school and they did nothing about it because he had well off parents that were regular contributors that made donations to the school. My two boys attend this school 2nd and 5th grade. We've decided to choose ST. Matthias Catholic Academy (SMCA) soon after Covid. My kids are excited every morning to attend the school and academically are much more engaged. The school community is like an extension of our family. I highly recommend this school. My son has been attending since pre-K and he loves going to school everyday. He has amazing classmates and he truly enjoys the different activities they have, like band, art, Lego club, choir and sports.
