The academic programs, touted as 'comprehensive' and 'innovative,' fell short of expectations. The coursework often felt outdated, and several instructors seemed disengaged and uninterested in the success of their students. The lack of practical applications and hands-on experiences left me feeling ill-prepared for the real-world challenges in my field. The administration at Canterbury is another major drawback. Bureaucratic processes are convoluted, and getting assistance from the administrative offices is a frustrating ordeal. Whether dealing with financial aid, course registration, or housing issues, I found myself constantly running into roadblocks, and the staff's lack of responsiveness only added to the frustration. Campus facilities, while visually appealing, are poorly maintained. The promised state-of-the-art facilities turned out to be more style than substance. Broken equipment in laboratories, outdated technology in classrooms, and insufficient library resources were a constant source of frustration for many students. The lack of a cohesive and supportive community was evident throughout my time at Canterbury. The student body felt fragmented, and there was a noticeable absence of school spirit or engaging extracurricular activities. It seemed like everyone was simply going through the motions, with little enthusiasm for learning or collaboration. Career services were practically nonexistent. The so-called job placement assistance was minimal, and networking opportunities were scarce. I struggled to find support in my post-graduation job search, feeling abandoned by the institution that should have prepared me for the workforce. In conclusion, I would caution anyone considering Canterbury to thoroughly research and reconsider their options. The glossy exterior masks a reality of subpar academics, unresponsive administration, and a lackluster campus culture. I regret my decision to attend this institution and would strongly advise prospective students to explore alternative educational opportunities." I've never been happier. My daughter started her 3rd Grade year at St. Paul and was the "new kid"…read moreas she puts it. We were both quickly embraced into the community of the school. The families and staff are extremely supportive, warm and genuinely friendly. I love the enrichment offered to Elementary students with Technology, Spanish, Art, Music, PE, Religion, Library and the Accelerated Learning Program as additions to the regular school day for students prior to Middle School. There are many wonderful opportunities for enrichment after school as well such as Drama Club, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, Mad Science and several team sport choices. The small community helps your child achieve mastery quickly and feel confident in their environment. The school truly has the recipe for emotional and academic success for children. I recently moved my son out of the 2 year old class and into a new school. We were not happy with…read morethis school. The teachers were wonderful with him. Especially Mrs. Shade in the early morning. But the school felt muggy and musky smell like mildew frequently. The fees were high, mostly because of how they were all seperate and school was always closing which added additional fees. When school was released for the aftercare.. About 2-5.. I would pick up my son in a small room with a group of all ages and a very young person whom I did not know as the adult. This young person I think is a son of a teacher? Not sure. Always someone different. I felt uncomfortable with this mostly because my son was 2 and id prefer to keep the groups desperate by ages similar to one another.
