The people were so welcoming and the sermons were so touching and easy to relate. I tell everyone I know and encourage friends to attend at least one service. I thought that their perspective and insight on marriage really helped me see the different obstacles me and my future husband would possibly face. The various exercises we did were useful in seeing how well my fiancé and I communicate. Coming out from the class we definitely learned what is important to us in making a successful marriage. I honestly thought this class would be boring, but turned out it was beneficial and enjoyable. Thank you Don and Nancy... I kept going week after week till I finally join a small group and that other man in the same situation that we're looking for peace with God and I was taught was biblical studies how much God loved me and how there's something better awaiting for My Life, I got baptized and it was history from there. I never turned back.. It's been over 15 years. I've been attending now. It's the best decision I ever made. I thank my Lord God, Almighty for introducing me to such a beautiful congregation. Its a big church though, so you'll have to find your niche. For all the anonymous ratings I'd say you can't judge a whole church because a few people hurt your feelings. People drop the word cult very easily when they're hurt, not really with a true and honest criticism. It's a decent place. You'll find out if it's for you as you keep attending.

I don't know the community nowadays but back in the day it was vibrant with social and fund-raising events. Monsignor Mroczkowski (try to pronounce that) was the pastor from 1967 to 1986. Look up his obituary to see some high powered Catholic clergy credentials. He was revered by parishoners and became Pastor Emeritus. He had a good voice and ran the choir. I think his degree was in Gregorian chant. That title was conferred by the Pope, so we didn't address him as Father, but Monsignor. This would be a holy place to me even if it were not an official holy place. So many funerals. My people are gone.
