This church is highly dangerous and manipulative, devious, and emotionally abusive people who know how to word salad, project, and charm you. They are responsible for working with my mother's ex-husband many years ago in 1975 helping him get my Mom to lose me while an infant. They used their community and members to "help" frame my Mother - even having a community member contact my foster family claiming to be a doctor warning my (now) adoptive mother NOT to give me back! I have documented proof from my adoption files with recorded conversations documented from ALL parties involved. This church still uses members to "pretend" to be licensed professionals such as doctors, psychologists, and nurses to get the job done. All it takes is for someone to say something bad about another person - and they nicely change into what they need to "get" that person. ALL BEHIND THE SCENES. This was during John Guest's time of service. Since then, they have been used by my adoptive siblings to do the same thing unsuccessfully, on my own kids! They used Maria Esteban of Sewickley - pretending her to be a licensed psychologist to help them. they manage the two elderly retirement buildings in Sewickley off Maple Ave, where my mother lived a few years back and threatened to "kick" her out (if she continued to watch my young children who were not in school at the time while I went to school during the day for 5 hours; limiting my mother's "ALONE" time with my kids to 2 hours unsupervised visits in her apartment 2 times a week. My mother eventually left... and couldn't be happier! This church gave us much "help" - good deeds to cover up their evil ones as they keep a public image making them look like a real Christian church serving God and helping the community. They are NOT. They are devilish behind closed doors as they masterfully manipulate their operations and convince others they are an organization they aren't. They used kids and adults alike to try to pry information out of my children as they encouraged other kids to become "friends" with my kids to get information they can twist on us. My kids used to be approached by strangers and asked random personal questions, even knowing things about them (like where we used to live and such), and would be shocked when they got an opposite answer from what is "going around" and would quickly leave. They haven't changed in 38 years! they are scandalers and liars.using anyone who they can convince to do their dirty work for power, influence, and control within the community. They have NO conscience in what harm they do to others, and still work with my adoptive family 1500 miles away through the internet and connections, as members have family and friends in the state I live in. WARNING to anyone who thinks this is a safe church. DON"T SAY I DIDN"T WARN YOU. This is NOT a true Christian church body. read more
