This is about tenth time I have been here to thus thrift store, and usually I find great stuff here. Today J found a seven VHS tape collection of the 1950's NBC 4 Colgate Hour Martin And Lewis comedy tv show! Great prices! Great place! Great selections! Great service!

Parking in the rear and street parking available. All sales final ! Has dressing rooms and bathroom They offer delivery services for furniture. No sales tax since October 2021 Saw some new wedding dresses for $299 . the prices here are pretty high for some of the merchandise listed. Look for colored tags for the day discounts displayed at the front of the register. During my visit red tag was 25% off, blue 50% off and yellow $1.99

Prices are a bit high. Found things from the dollar tree more expensive here. They were getting rid of things cause they were not selling (as in throwing things away that could be donated to a woman's shelter or lower the price cause its too expensive). Prices need to be reasonable, not as expensive as brand new or more. Walked out empty handed.

I don't have a price gun or if it's even tampered with! Terrible encounter from that man!

Today I walk in and the tall African American man presses me about the price of the shoe and im so caught off guard! Like I don't know what to tell you! I felt paying $20 for used shoes is pretty high and I also thought at that price was relatively fair! So idk if he thought I changed the price but that was very rude of him to even think that! I usually never buy shoes from here for that fact alone as they are highly priced! Also this store is more like a resale store! I would understand if they posted there things online where it's to a broader market but you're having people in the community support you! Also who gives you these items, you should do the right thing and make it fair for the community instead of trying to get over on free merchandise! There should be standard pricing at thrift stores and not eBay watching! Let the people who support you and actually pay for the items you get for free decide the price afterwards!

Extremely overpriced for a thrift store. There are some decent finds, but the prices make it hard to justify buying anything.

This thrift store is very well organized. Perhaps that's one of the most interesting things about it. They even have their clothing organized by size. So, this makes shopping for that vintage piece of clothing much easier. This is something that few other thrift stores do. And, it's really appreciated. Because, it makes the whole shopping experience, not only easier but more enjoyable. Beacon House has far more than just clothing, however. This shop is stuffed full of all kinds of everything else, from electronics, to kitchen goods, to musical items, to LPs, cassette tapes, pretty much anything you can think of, they've got something. As is the case with all thrift stores, the inventory at this business is constantly changing. So, going in here one day may be very different from going in the next day. You will never know what you're gonna find. And, that's what makes this business a really unique shopping experience. So, if you're one of those people that enjoy going to thrift shops, seeking out antiques, vintage items, discarded items that nobody really cared about, or pretty much anything else, this is a great place to go. Of all the thrift stores in the area, this is definitely one of the best.

Parking can be a little struggle as it was pretty packed when we arrived. First off, right when I walked in I was greeted by the three amazing and very funny ladies. Especially the one behind the counter. She was a major hoot that we all got a laugh with. It makes the shopping experience way better. It's broken down into two different sides. The main being where there cashier is and the women's department. They also have a pretty massive selection with accessories, jewelry and shoes. Plus shoes were half off. The other section house more of the home wares stuff, trinkets, glassware, furniture, babies and men's. There were loads of dish ware. Its nice to see that the place was very neat and organized which is also a major plus when browsing through. Makes it more easy to pick something up without having to dig through piles. There's not a big selection for men and kids as it was mainly a little sections. But pretty extensive collection for chinas and crystals. Woman's had the entire section for clothing and accessories. The staff were all amazing and friendly. Such sweetheart and major dolls. Chatting with them was so fun. Found out that the money goes to different charities which makes the shopping experience more enjoyable knowing that you helped someways. I was glad to walk into a cute little shop.

The selection of clothing from all sorts of era. You have fun theme items which theres loads. Of course they can be a daily wear item. The vintage collection is top notch. All the decors throughout the stores are fun. Vintage mannequin heads, the dressing rooms doors made of old vintage refrigerator doors, they were great. There's a huge selection of vintage jewelry on displays as well as loads of fun sunglasses. Beside the clothes, the vintage signs which I assume are display were fun. Now that'll be great for home decor. Not sure if they're for sale though. Basically this is another gem along the art district that worth a wander. So much amazing and fun pieces.

I was interested in the large houseware section since I collect teaware. I found two beautiful teacups and saucers at great prices, $5 each set. The whole store is clean and well organized. However, I didn't like how many of the tea cups and saucers are taped together with painters tape, covering the brand and country of origin on the bottom of the cup.
