I Love Stacked! I've been here a few times and will get take out too and it's the best. The red velvet pancakes are AMAZING!! However, this past Sunday 4/29/18, I had a bad experience due to the service there, or better yet my waitresses service because outside of that everything was wonderful. Her name is Jennifer and everything started out normal until she came to ask me and my friend what we were going to order, I started off first asking for the "ole skillet" with chicken chorizo, the menu clearly says they come with hash browns and I've order the skillet dozens of times and there was never no confusion, so it threw me off when she asked for hash potatoes or diced potatoes. Since I thought she meant the side I let her know I would be wanting the red velvet pancakes as the side. She looked at me and started laughing and is like "you want red velvet pancakes in your skillet?!" And was laughing and mocking me. I explained that I was confused and I actually apologized for the confusing even though she kept laughing. When she finally finished the order and making fun of me for a honest mistake that I apologized for she went on her way. When our food was ready she dropped it off. I noticed that the skillet had no cheese so when she passed by I told her if she can take it back to add cheese. She took it, my friend also asked for Cholula hot sauce. She angrily refilled our coffee cups and then slammed the coffee pot on the table splashing coffee all over the place. Me and my friend just sat there shocked. She came back and threw the Cholula on the table. She finally brought back my food and we just ate and tried to stay out of her way. Again my experience has always been wonderful and I've always loved the food here, I'm just sorry that this particular situation and experience really is going to make me think twice about coming here. read more

So very disappointed with the service and owners disposition. We were given blatant disregard in their seating process. We were given the paging device and I witnessed other patrons given favor and being seated even though we had been waiting over 40 minutes. The owner became loud and ignorant, and walked off while my friend was speaking to him. His staff even said his behavior was inappropriate. Tell me if this makes sense. About 20 or 30 minutes ago, I call to order their delicious, one of a kind, lemon soup. Their usually extremely busy and always packed, which is a good sign of their amazing menu. Knowing this, I call to place an order, I wait about 3-5 minutes (not a problem) and I eagerly wait only to have a gentleman who quickly mumbled a short greeting, and I finally start to place an order for pick up 2 scrumptious lemon soups. BUT he immediately states, "we are not taking any orders for pick up." I'm confused, so I explain that I just wanted to order 2 lemon soups and I'll pay over the phone so it's faster for them and convenient too (I've done this in the past). He now, in a rude manner repeats, " I said we are not taking orders to go!" I then asked, so if I go there and order it in person, wait in line, and place the order, would that be ok? He said, in a loud voice, said "no! You have to dine in and there's a 25 minute wait!" Now I'm frustrated, yet found it humorous so I told him: Ok I'll wait the 25 minutes Be seated for dine in Order my 2 soups for me and 91 year old grandmother since it's her favorite as well Then I'll wait for the waitress/waiter to bring my soups Then ask if she/he can put in a take out container and give me the bill I'll leave a tip, pay the bill, and take it to go He abruptly and arrogantly interrupted said no and he hung up the phone on me LOL and SMH One less customer they have to worry about, not that it matters to them now that COVID isn't affecting their business as much. Try to calm down before write down what I experienced this morning. 1. When I entered there was a guy with a beard, he gave me a table next to the enterance even there is lot more table in side restaurant. Ok, it's fine, didn't complain. 2. Food was good, delicious and our server was really nice too. 3. Was going to pay the check with credit card. Gave my credit card to the same guy as the host(beard guy), but some reason it declined, so I gave him different c/c and I was waiting. Wait 2-3min I looked at him which mean why took it so long. Then he said "I told you your second card is declined too! So I'm confused what are you waiting for!" I was baffled. So I left my iphone on the cashier, told him give me one second. I was looking for my mom at the car and she wasn't there, and when I was going back in to restaurant, that host guy looking at me with the cross armed. Found my mom at the restroom, then I was able to gave him a 100$ bill. But when I give him 100$, he was acting so upset. So I asked "did i make you upset?" He said "yes, I told you your second card was declined but you were just standing there doing nothing and go to the car, so I accused you. I apologize if you didn't hear that I told you. And there is so many people eat and just disappear." I didn't know what to tell. Still no idea what I suppose to do. I guess it's my bad that I didn't ask him to go to the car together but still it was so shocked and so embarrassed that he accused me infront of so many people ont waiting . But still I think, even that kind of thing happen to them again, I think they need to find better way to solve that kind of problem. Haha so sorry about my "utter lack of my communication". I love breakfast and noticed the restaurant one day after eating burgers, reminding myself to return. We came in today (Sunday morning before 10 am) as a party of four. The wait was about 45 minutes but we decided to stick it out after reading reviews. Finally, a young man called my name and brought us to a table with three chairs. I asked if we would be getting another chair and he rolled his eyes before looking around for one. Were we supposed to figure that one out on our own? Anyway, our waitress was friendly and delivered delicious food promptly. We tried the stacked special, the chicken florentine panini, and the banana foster french toast. The "Greek Lemon Rice Soup" is to die for- we normally place a large order to go and enjoy later!! We have had everything from the amazing Banana Foster French toast to the juice burgers to the flavor busting chicken sandwiches....Can I tel ya! We have yet to be disappointed. Arrived at 11:30 on a Tuesday and had a short wait for a table. Food was excellent, and very fresh. Cream of chicken rice soup was just thick enough. I had the turkey club and the turkey was obviously freshly-carved, not processed and sliced. Bread was chewy and toasted just right. Coleslaw was perfect and tasted homemade and not like it came out of a jug. Fries were just okay, but hey...they're fries. My sister had the balsamic chicken on foccacia and said it was perfectly cooked, juicy and tender. Foccacia was soft and a nice compliment to the chicken. The home made chips were to die for. Price on drinks was a bit high ($2.25 for a soda), but refills were included. I think the prices are more than fair for the quality and the amount of food. The only reason I'm giving the place four stars instead of five is because of the service. Although the waitress checked back with us about drink refills, she never asked if we wanted anything else (we did, but gave it a pass since she never asked), and we felt rushed out the door when she dropped the check on the table approximately 5 minutes after she delivered our food. I realize the place is small and table turnover is important, but please...let me at least FINISH my meal before you show me the door. read more
