Saturday morning and the restaurant was swamped. The lobby was standing room only as the host and hostess told every person the wait would be 15 - 20 minutes. The wait was more like 35 minutes but that should have been obvious from the waiting crowd. Happily, my crew was pleased with our food. My patty melt was delicious and juicy, served on sourdough as requested instead of rye. My daughter loved her breakfast burger. There were only 2 disappointments. Breakfast potatoes were meh, next time we will ask for them to be well done. The boyfriend enjoyed the pancakes but didn't love the barely there bananas and paltry Nutella. We will return - the portions were large and decently priced.

A friend recommended this place and it did not dissapoint. The breakfast was huge and delicious, we couldn't finish our plates. Coffee is fresh and they leave a pot full of it for quick refills. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, no complains. You do have to wait since it is a pretty busy place, but you will have a great time and meal.

I had breakfast at Stacks on 38 in Moorestown, NJ, and it honestly felt like the perfect home style breakfast spot. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, a little quieter than most breakfast places, which made it feel relaxed and comfortable, almost like eating at home. The service was excellent, with our food coming out in under 10 minutes, which is hard to beat. The portion sizes are large, and the prices are amazing for how much food you get. The best deal by far is the premium platter, which comes loaded with eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, French toast, and potatoes. It is a massive plate of food and a great way to try a little of everything. Everything was cooked just right, hearty, and satisfying. For me, Stacks on 38 is easily the best breakfast spot in Burlington County. Between the portions, the price, the quick service, and the cozy, homestyle feel, it is the kind of place you will want to keep coming back to.

Been meaning to check this place out. We have stopped a couple times in the past but the wait has just been too long. This past Sunday we went and the wait was about 20 minutes so we put in our names. We were sat before that. We got a booth right by the window which was nice. Our server stopped by instantly with our menus. We pretty much knew what we were going to get. I ordered the pumpkin pancakes because 'tis the season and my boyfriend got the West Coast Avocado Benedict with home fries. My boyfriend got a hot chocolate. It was made with water but pretty decent. Our food came out fairly quickly. My pancakes were very good. Good balance of pumpkin and spice. I thought the little container it came with was icing but it was just a very sweet butter, very good. My boyfriend got his benedict, and it was Luke warm. I told him to say something but he said it was good. It was good but it would have been better hot. You get great size portions and everything was very good. Once we received our food we didn't see our server until she brought over the check. I would go again but I just wish he would have let me say something as having eggs almost cold is not good.

Stacks gives you big bang for you dollars. The food is delicious. I had the chicken biscuits with withe gravy and it was amazing, I had hash browns and turkey bacon do my sides. My wife had the same but she had potatoes with peppers and onions. My uncle had the breakfast skillet and pancakes. He said that those were some of the best pancakes he has ever had. He had been there 3 times in two weeks. He said he wants to go again. Yeah I say it is good as well. I will be going there again. Hey guys I almost forgot he sent me a picture of a meal he had when I was not there. He had the Chili Omelette with potatoes. So you have to try Stacks on 38, you will not regret it

Stack's Loaded Omelette. Came with a side of pancakes. Amazing.

If you're prone to egg ick this place will definitely give it to you. The bacon also wasn't great but the pancakes were good.

I know this is the former Perkins Restaurant, so is the breakfast items similar? Also, isn't there socially distanced INDOOR dining too?

Hi, we operate under a new name! Same owners and yes similar food but with more variety. And yes we we offer indoor dining at reduced capacity.

When we arrived, the restaurant was busy, and we waited about 15-20 minutes after adding our names to the waitlist. Since it was a beautiful day, there was the option to dine indoors or outside. We chose to sit inside. My first impression was that the restaurant was lively and bustling, which made it feel like a popular neighborhood favorite. It also appeared to be both family-friendly and pet-friendly, which was a nice touch. For my meal, I ordered the Omelette & Potatoes with mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach, and onions, along with a side of bacon. The omelet itself was good, but the bacon was a major disappointment. It was extremely overcooked--so crispy that it resembled bacon chips rather than strips of bacon. My daughter ordered the Egg White Wrap with turkey sausage, spinach, and feta, along with a side of fresh fruit. She enjoyed it well enough but felt it was just okay. Overall, we both agreed that the food was pretty basic. It wasn't bad and it was nothing to write home about. While the atmosphere was welcoming, the staff was attentive and the service was pleasant, the food didn't quite live up to the reviews I had read. Unfortunately, I don't think it's a place I'd be in a hurry to revisit.

I had the Power Breakfast, and my wife enjoyed the California Omelette. Both meals were fresh, flavorful, generously portioned, and beautifully prepared. We would absolutely order them again. Our server, Benjamin, deserves special recognition. He was friendly, attentive, checked on us at just the right times, and never made us feel rushed. His service was outstanding and added to an otherwise wonderful dining experience. The only disappointment was the beverage pricing. I'll admit that we typically don't study the menu prices before ordering--that was probably our mistake. After eating in restaurants for more than 70 years, however, I can honestly say these beverage prices are among the most outrageous I've encountered. We were charged $3.99 for a single cup of black coffee and $5.99 for one glass of lemonade--nearly $10 for two beverages. The coffee was simply one ordinary cup of black coffee, and the lemonade was so incredibly sweet that it was almost undrinkable. Neither beverage came close to justifying its price. It's unfortunate because everything else was excellent. The quality of the food, the atmosphere, and Benjamin's exceptional service make Silver Diner a place we would gladly visit again. However, management should seriously reconsider charging nearly $10 for one standard cup of coffee and one mediocre glass of lemonade. Prices like that leave customers feeling taken advantage of and detract from what is otherwise a terrific dining experience. We'll definitely be back--but next time we'll probably skip the beverages unless the pricing becomes more reasonable.

Our waitress seemed a bit flustered, but still very friendly and attentive. We ordered quickly and our food came out really fast. I got an omelette with salad greens. Everything seemed fresh and flavorful. I had zero issues with my food. One of my kids got the French toast with bacon and fruit and the other got a grilled cheese with fruit. Both kids liked the main meal but the fruit was on its way out. Lots of brown and squishy spots. Normally my kids could eat a pound of fruit each, but they both passed on it. My wife got a breakfast sandwich with potatoes. She really wanted fries, but they had none. What breakfast restaurant doesn't have French fries? We thought that was pretty strange. She said the sandwich was fine, but nothing spectacular. My parents shared eggs and potatoes and a pot of decaf. The potato consensus across the table was that they were not good. Too salty and not crispy enough. This was especially upsetting because of the lack of fries. Oh well. They also hated the coffee, but my parents only usually like McDonald's coffee. Boomers. What are you going to do. Everyone agreed we would not be back here, but for me, with the parking lot and satisfied kids, I wasn't too sad about the meal.
