Also Polish painters inspired by Impressionism. the second floor of the gallery hosts a cafe with the best patio in Krakow, overseeing the Main Square and facing the two towers of the St. Mary Church. for me personally: visiting the museum after so many years brought some memories from my school days - the Sukiennice Gallery was a popular spot for the grade school field trips. Beautiful paintings and a lot to take about the Polish history and culture. a bonus for good and visible depictions of the paintings!
