After placing our order, we sat there for what felt like forever with no updates, no explanation, and no sense that anyone was paying attention. What made it worse was watching other tables--who arrived after us--get served before we did. It honestly felt like we were forgotten. When the food finally came out, it didn't even feel worth the wait. By that point, the whole experience was just disappointing and irritating. If you're planning to eat here, be prepared to wait... and wait... and then wait some more. There are plenty of other places that actually respect your time. I won't be coming back.

Dr. Lucky's is a nice little sports bar. Very clean, bordering on too clean. There's pool tables, darts, and an arcade game or two. My son-in-law, the chef, tells me that it was because the oil was old and rancid. Apparently this gives all food the appearance of being burnt with a bad taste. What I didn't appreciate was that I was asked to pay for food that anybody would have raised an eyebrow at and treated like I was the problem. The cook even came out of the kitchen and tried to nonchalantly check out who I was. When I met her I she gave me a dirty look and marched back off into the kitchen. Not recommended. I won't ever go back. If they don't know enough to know that they're serving people bad food or have the professionalism to own up to it when they have, then I have no time for them.
