Beds are so hard, might as well slepp pn the floor. The bed cover is so small. And they have a very bright sign just next to my window that makes my room as bright as daylight. Very bad stay. Neve read more

However, the showers has lots of hot water and the bathroom comes equipped with both soap/ shampoo and body lotion. There is a small in-room refrigerator. Location is very close to the train station, but neighborhood can get rowdy. However, I never felt unsafe.

3.5 stars. Nothing…read morespecial but small cute hotel. Location is good. Very close to old town (center) and Hauptbahnhof (main train station). You can walk to both within 5-10 min. Breakfast was good but you can find fresh pastries and good coffee outside of the hotel very easily if you are not in the mood for buffet as it's a bit expensive (18 euro). No formal dinner menu but they offer free food in the evening from 18:30. Usually variety of salad, bread, cheese and dessert with a couple of hot dishes (pasta or etc). You can buy a beer and have full dinner actually. Bed was very comfortable and each room has Nespresso machine. Very friendly staff.

It was located just off a main road and within the grounds of a park, where people liked to take a walk (I think I saw swans!). I had the Wienerschnitzel one evening which was A-OK, no complaints, though I could see where it could seem a little expensive if I were not on expenses, but I think this is attributable to all of Europe in general. I stayed just one night, driving back to a Marriott near Hamburg airport, which was cheaper, but probably not quite as nice. The staff all spoke very good English, which was great, because I didn't have the time or inclination to learn German. The only problem I had with language was asking for a receipt at a filling station, the german word for receipt is absolutely nothing like what is probably the etymologically French, English word

The hotel has a modern deconstructed kinda vibe going on. Pretty different than what we have in the States and certainly has a lot more character than a typical chain hotel. The location was nice, clean and safe. There was plenty of parking right outside. There was a restaurant and bar right there on the property and the buffet breakfast was awesome. Overall, just a very cool experience and if you're looking to stay in a hotel that's different than the same ol' same ol', I would highly recommend staying there.

Some outside construction was visible, and parts aren't fully finished (some lamps missing, limited outside signs). The main entrance was difficult to find, not much parking (didn't see the underground parking that supposedly exists). But the staff was very friendly, the reception area very nice and the rooms well furnished with a large bed, large bed, and flatscreen TV. The overall modern design in the old building could best be described as "half-finished" (but on purpose in an artsy way). A bit expensive, since you're not paying for location (the city center is 2 km away). Advance (non-refundable) bookings are available at lower prices. Overall nice atmosphere, but the final construction kinks need to be worked out.
