Our show was sold out. Not a bad seat in the house. Live band. Local production. Very well done. Might want to bring a light jacket for when the sun is setting. Once the show was over, you make your way down the hill or take the shuttle bus again. By the time you get out of the amphitheater and into your car, it's clear sailing out of there. All in all, a very pleasant way to spend a Leavenworth summer evening. Might want to get tickets in advance as we did.

Unfortunately, I made a mistake when booking and my tickets are for this Friday instead of next Friday. I made a mistake, yes. However, when I called, they said it's their policy to not correct mistakes or even exchange the tickets. So, I'm out $95 because they don't want to move the tickets to the night I could go. The tickets are during a sold out night. The two tickets would sell in a heartbeat, but they are not willing do anything. This will be my third visit, actually my fourth since we are seeing two separate shows two nights in a row. I will never make this mistake again, but I won't return now. I think this policy is horrible and I will now boycott them. They get 5 stars for the shows and venue because the talent is truly great. They get 1 star for terrible customer service. I met both in the middle with a 3 star review.

We bought some last-minute tickets for what ended up being there, last production of the year, and it was phenomenal! It's quite literally an amphitheater up on a ski hill, and is a little bit of a hike from the parking lot. There's an opportunity to purchase food and beverage at a small lodge about halfway up the hill, and overall it was about a quarter mile hike from the parking lot up to where you were seated. They have pillows that you can sit on, for purchase/rent, and since only about two or 300 people are able to sit in the amphitheater area, there's not a bad seat in the house. The, production of sound of music that we saw was fantastic, and really was made better by the surroundings. There's something quite magical to being able to sit outside on a nice summer evening and watch a play. If you haven't done it, it should be on your list of things to do!

I loved the chaps made from Buffalo hair, and the old organs that won't play unless one pumps the foot petals. Of course, the outside village is an amazing collection of settlers' cabins and other structures, all with period-appropriate furnishings. I'm in a wheelchair; I found the museum to be very accessible. Admission is $10-12 at most, and Veterans are free. But seriously, consider making a donation anyway. These wonderful places require so much upkeep. We don't want to lose them!

The front desk worker was a bit brusque in their interactions, however there were a few of us entering at once, so it might have just been a bit overwhelming for them. As someone on a budget, the price was a little on the high side, however nothing exorbitant. The exhibits were easy to navigate and good use was made of the available space. Artifacts were meticulously laid out both inside the main museum and in the pioneer village. The Great Northern Railway car was open to exploration, which was very neat. The whole pioneer village was well maintained and a great way to get some context for what life in Cashmere was like in the past. I noted a few bloopers on my visit, one concerning geology and one concerning currency. Some people I know love bloopers, in Hollywood they are something that might go wrong in constructing/putting together a movie and are visible in the final product, and they feel it can add to the overall experience. However, I am not currently the biggest fan of bloopers, though I used to enjoy them more, perhaps I am just a bit rusty on their enjoyment value.

Now I've said this and many other theater reviews- You already know that snacks, popcorn, water and sodas are outrageously priced, prepare for that and don't complain. With that ..... When I visited the…read moreWenatchee Valley Museum and Cultural Centre in the summer of 2021, hand sanitizer was provided by the front desk and masks were required due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The worker at the front desk was friendly and helpful in getting the admission purchased and getting us on our way exploring the museum. Exhibits span multiple floors across a main building and an annex. My favorite exhibit was the one on the Great Northern Railway, located upstairs in the main museum building. Informational placards were spaced around a model train system (diorama) that one could signal the model train to run. The scene the train ran included depictions of the actual railway and moved slow enough we could walk along with it as it traversed the model tracks. The information did a good job incorporating the physical geography, natural hazard, and social aspects that played a significant role in the building and establishment of the railway. The second exhibit I found captivating was the apple industry-related exhibit located on the ground-level in the annex. I have lived in Washington State for over 20 years and am familiar with the importance the fruit carries for the state, however the exhibit did a good job of highlighting some of the technical aspects of day-to-day work in the apple industry and the importance of the industry in Wenatchee Valley more specifically. Appreciated the local-context the information posted provided. All around the exhibits were wonderful and I especially loved the Liberty Organ, it was my first time seeing the innards of an organ like that.

This group tonight, a 'knock-off' group singing ABBA's music and wearing their regalia, did a really good job of presenting the ABBA theme and program. The music was fun, fast, and sometimes furious. The Wenatchee orchestra was a nice compliment. The seating was perfect (isle seat) but there were people in front and they decided to stand toward the end of the concert and that bugs me. I want to see and see sitting down. If they want to stand move to the very back. The ushers should take this in-hand and move these folks out. I am not excited when the audience sings; I am there to hear the concert. I go to karioche to hear interlopers. The concert was great, the venue was great, and the location of the venue was convenient. Thank you PAC for the nice reception. One exception actually: the blather from the introduction by the PAC director was a little over the top. I didn't go there to see you. Tickets were bought for the concert, and without purchased tickets-----no concert. Make a twenty second introduction and let's get on with the show. Sara, thanks for the tickets. We enjoyed the show and would certainly go again.
