I don't recommend this place at all…read more First, the quality of teachers who teach my kid is poor. The teacher doesn't have enough ability to manage/teach the class, letting the kid sit there for the whole class (1 hour) doing nothing when he was dealing with another student. Moreover, it is not the first time. The last class, the teacher debugged by himself for the whole class and let my kid sitting there doing nothing as well. Second, the school operation and system is a mess. They mismatched different level students in the same section. Further more, the teacher is new and inexperienced to teach this class. The school doesn't manage the teacher. The worst part is the management and the customer service. My kid was crying due to the frustration that the teacher not teaching him at all for the continuous two lessons. The front desk person pretended not knowing what was happened from the beginning until I told the details. Then she admitted that they had the internal discussion of the issue and will refund the class / change the teacher. But they cannot even guarantee the same thing won't be happened to my kid after changing the teacher. So there is no internal management for teachers. The way and the attitude of handling the issue showing me they don't have basic customer service. Wasting time and destroying the passion of a kid's learning is more than a refund!

It was so helpful to have this to look forward to during a such a sad time. Mete had been recommended by a neighbor, whose children study with him. I can't believe how well I've progressed - I even sang for my dad at his memorial celebration, in front of 50 people. I love my voice now, and I have so much fun singing! Mete is just the best teacher for me, so inspiring and supportive! I think most of his students are young people and children, but he's great with adults as well! He also teaches piano, and sings at events - he's just a sweetheart, and with an amazing voice and kindness!

I hadn't taken serious vocal lessons in the past so my voice was as untrained as it could get. :) He has been great at identifying where my strengths and weakness were and he could design the lessons in such a way that I made a lot of progress in such a short time. I am now able to produce operatic sounds that I didn't think I have in me! All this preparation is for my upcoming first album and Mete is critical to my singing quality both in technique and interpretation aspects.

I know parents of dancers who danced here! My dancer has tuned her area of deepest interest but loves all genres - tap, musical theatre, lyrical, jazz and hip hop. While she does not focus on ballet, the studio has an amazing program for ballerinas at the most senior level. My daughter builds a strong foundation and body through ballet classes, which supports all of her dancing. She has grown in confidence, discipline, and teamwork.

First of all, we weren't told the regular teacher would be replaced by a substitute. The substitute was inexperienced and didn't engage my child, who was attending for the first time. We walked up to the teacher before the class and told her that we are here for a trial so she knew that we are new. Yet, the teacher ignored my child the entire time, even when it was clear that my child was struggling to understand what was going on. She made 0 efforts to help her fit in; my child was left alone standing at the corner the entire time. Zero teaching, zero caring. Will definitely not come back.

The teachers are all competent classical guitarists, and many years of experience of teaching. They use rigorous Suzuki method to teach, but with warm and gentle approach. My older son started learning classical guitar with Patrick since he was 6 (now he is a high schooler). Patrick is super patient and nice, and always provides positive feedback and encourages the student to be better. We really appreciate his gentle way of teaching. Patrick is a great musician. Under his guidance and influence, my older son enjoys practicing guitar everyday, and is willing to come out of his comfort zone to try several guitar competitions. My younger son started his guitar lesson with Scott 3 years ago. Scott is a great teacher. He has good sense of humor, and is very detail and technical orientated. He can also identify student's strength and weakness and adjust his teaching accordingly. My young son thrives and looks forward to each lesson. All the teachers in the school work very hard to build a classical guitar community. They organize frequent recitals each term and provides tons of opportunities for students to perform. Before the pandemic, they have guitar ensemble classes for different levels. My kids really love the biweekly rehearsal with their ensemble groups. Through the ensemble program, we also get to know the other great teachers, Rob and Angelica. They are passionate in teaching and sharing their love of classical guitar and music. My kids not only learn classical guitar from the school, but the love of music and the joy of sharing music with others. We are really grateful!

Teacher Scott is absolutely fabulous with the kids, he has endless patience, a positive attitude, a great sense of humor and such a great way of adapting his teaching style and the level of technique to match the child's age and maturity. He has also been great with scheduling, and has worked with us whenever we needed to make adjustments. The additional group classes they used to hold before COVID were also a really nice bonus that allowed the kids to play along with other kids at their level, and Rob was always great at running those and making them fun and engaging. I recommend this place wholeheartedly!

The kids loved her and were naturally inclined to practice piano in between lessons. Although they don't currently play piano, they do play the flute and clarinet and I think that is because they had a great start with music and reading music with Leah. We also loved how she arranged recitals at retirement or convalescent homes. It was a great example of how music can bring joy into people's lives.
