!!! BUYER BEWARE. This is a scam. !!!…read more This company actively seeks new customers to collect job deposits with zero intention to actually build a new deck. They will promise you trust and reliability, while they currently have over a dozen incomplete jobs AFTER demoing the old deck and stealing the ~$10,000-$20,000 deposits. You will be left with no deck, large holes in your yard, and out thousands of dollars. PLEASE do not even consider this company, it is a scam. Do not trust any business owned by Levi Lupton, as it is most likely a scam. We were left with a highly dangerous situation for MONTHS. They tore down our second story deck, huge holes in the yard, and we have multiple children under 6 who easily could have fallen out of a second story door. In the process of demoing, they destroyed our HVAC which cost us $1500 in repairs. He actually told us after months of waiting that he spent our deposit money and could not afford new materials until he made another sale. Which, yes, meant he would not be able to afford THAT person's materials. We ended up buying the materials ourselves and had them shipped directly to our home.

Before, I signed the contract with Aaron Jones back in February of 2025 he was telling us that it should be completed Memorial Day Weekend. Which to us was very promising. I paid the deposit which was over $5k. Levi was quick to move and wanted to dig the footer holes. The footer holes were dug before the land use permit was even applied for and the building permit was never obtained from either of the two code enforcement agencies for our township. With digging the footer holes that was considered the start of work for them which required the start of work payment even though the date they dug the footer holes was outside of the timeframe of the contract start date. Thus, another $5k+ check was paid for the start of work. There had been a lot of rain that filled the footer holes. The ones closest to the house had collapsed, and I sent photos to Levi who said they would come clean them up before the concrete was poured. We don't know if this ever happened. But, since no building permit was obtained the footers were not inspected. We used a concrete company to pour the patio that they had worked with in the past and I really wish I knew more of the details of why they don't subcontract with them anymore. Since the reason they gave was pretty much boiled down to taxes for the company. Kingdom gave our info to the concrete guys. My husband met with the concrete person figured Kingdom gave them what we wanted for the patio/sidewalk and there was definitely miscommunication for that part after the concrete was poured. But, from talking with the concrete people and with Levi, both assured us that Kingdom Custom Decks was going to obtain the permits for the concrete as well. I ended up having some medical issues that put me out of commission for a while, and starting to get better. I went down to the township office to inquire if a permit was ever applied for, because I asked Levi for the permits to post on the house, never received them from Kingdom Custom Decks. The township office gave me a copy of the Land Use Permit, but also told me about the building permit that even though they pick one to put on the land use permit that they could choose which one out of the two to use. After, both were called and neither one had anything for our address a stop work order was put into place for Kingdom Custom Decks. I messaged Levi about needing to stop work immediately and that he needed to take the land use permit with him to PMCA to be able get the building permit. At, this point everything Levi started to message me started to feel like empty promises and abandonment. It showed when I started demanding proof of the building application being submitted and calling PMCA to see if it was submitted yet or if Levi or Kingdom Custom Decks had called. Each time I called was more and more disappointment especially when people don't do their jobs correctly and give people misinformation and when a company you thought you could put your trust in that portrays in name to be a Christian based company and breeches the contract even before the actual start date on the contract fails to do "WYSYWGTD". We had to pay $225 extra to PMCA, because Kingdom Custom Decks failed to submit a building application and have inspections done. We still have to get inspections done. So, there is even more money that we have to spend. If you still think you want this company to build a deck for you. Donate the money to an actual charitable cause for taxes. I know I could have helped out people that actually could have used that money. But, the best advice I can give you is to go with a company that friends/family/neighbors have used and would recommend to you, a company that has been in business for many years, check the better business bureau, check reviews. Just do your homework!
