I didn't even hire these guys, but they knocked over my mailbox pulling down a tree in my neighbor's yard. They had a rope tied to their truck and the tension snapped the post and sent the mailbox tumbling. Sketchy AF. My wife and I talked to them 3 times about fixing it. They loosely buried the post (it's wobbly and barely in the ground). Then they set the dented mailbox on the post without attaching it. I contracted with this company to cut and remove trees. They were four hours late arriving at my house on a Friday. They cut down the trees and wanted me to give them half the money because they were broke. I told them no they asked me four more times for money I finally just went in the house. They came back on the next day and the owner showed and in good faithI went ahead and paid him cash. That how he wants to be paid cash or a check made out to him William E. Stanley. JR. an d not the company. The crew cut up trees and chipped some. They had no way to move the large cut up wood except by hand. So I let them borrow my Cub Volunteer to haul off the wood. Two workers quit and went to my neighbor's house to top his trees. Four o'clock they quit for the day. Could they come back on Sunday I said fine no body showed. I called one of the crew who gave me his phone number. They would be there on Monday, no body showed so I called the owner William E. Stanley JR. when are you going to clean up my yard. He gave the phone to the crew chief we will be there at 1 o'clock no body showed. So I called the owner he told me the crew chief they were done. I told William there are over sixty pieces of wood on the ground not counting the brush. I have been calling the owner for over a 100 days will not call me back. read more

did not show up on agreed date to take down an oak tree that we had in writing and they did not call to apologize for not showing. they finally showed up 2 days later and did not show up until after 12:00. was told by one of the workers that they were not woken up until 8:30. worker asked for some payment only in cash before the was finished. we refused until job was completed. they finished cutting the tree down and chopping up logs which they hauled to a neighbors yard and dumped out. they promised to return to cut down the stump and still not have arrived. we had to clean up their mess. they left some supplies here but they will get them back until their return. when the answer they promise to return your call but never do. we call about 3 times a week, in the beginning they promised to come finish the stump, they even gave times they would come but never showed. we set at home for 2 days when they said they would be here. they never showed. Brandon was the name of the contact person. He was knowledgeable and experienced. Pricing was actually better than some other estimates.
