Worst landscaping company ever. They will trash your yard and overcharge you're for service. These people are unprofessional

We live out of state so when we listed our home for sale, the rental company failed to let us know that the tree in front of our home was HUGE and was big eye sore.... We had to get it removed and cleaned up. I contacted this company and they were able to remove the tree stump as well as remove all mess that was left behind... They put mulch, trimmed the bushes and also cleaned everything around the home. They were great to work with! Recommend this new business. read more

Do NOT ever even consider using this company! I used them well over a month ago. I asked them to: remove a rose bush, fill all the holes my dogs dug, spray for all weeds, mow, and plant grass seed, and get rid of all the trash all over the yard. They came and did an estimate and I hired them because they gave me a low quote and were nice at first. After they did everything, I paid them and they left, I had to call them to come back after I did a walkthrough of my yard. First of all, one of the worst things they did was I had bricks under my fence where my dogs were digging so they didn't get out and they just threw dirt over top of the bricks instead of moving the bricks and filling the holes with dirt. They didn't even completely cover the bricks so I could see them all over my yard under the fence. The only two people here were the owner and one employee. The owner did pretty much everything in my backyard while the employee did the front, and the owner is blaming the employee for most of the problems I'm having when it seems the employee did a better job than the owner considering he did my front yard and I have no complaints on the front yard. The next thing is I paid a ton of money for him to plant grass seed all over because most of my yard was dirt. NONE of the grass grew what so ever except a small patch in the corner of my yard. The ONLY reason that grass grew was because it was planted where a garden used to be and was planted on potting soil. The first time he came, he left all the netting underneath the garden where I asked him to remove it and that was another thing he had to fix after I called him to come back. He left trash everywhere, forgot to spray for weeds when I paid him to, threw dirt on top of bricks, never moved anything out of the way (like my stand that holds my hose or trash) to put dirt or grass seed so those places won't grow back. When they got here, they had to take my fence apart to get all the equipment in the back yard and I said it was okay as long as they put it back right. Well, my fence is now falling apart and there was a post that was in cement in the ground which he removed and never fixed so now there's just cement sitting there and the post isn't attached to anything. Also, I asked him to spray for weeds on my patio and my fire pit and he forgot the first time. When I asked him to come back to do it, he did it very quickly and weeks went by and not a single weed died. I ended up buying cheap weed killer from lowes and my weeds were dead within 3 days. So, a few weeks ago I called and CIVILLY asked if he could come back here so we could discuss me getting some of my money back. After that he never called me back and I called several times and never heard from him. This morning, I finally got ahold of him and he wouldn't even talked to me, he handed the phone over to his wife who wasn't even there when he was first doing my yard and she lied about everything. She said I never called, that they never said they'd spray everywhere for weeds, that the employee messed up and put the dirt on the bricks and not the owner, argued with me for over 30 minutes and interrupted me and barely let me talk, told me she didn't care if I took her to court because she has pictures of before and after they did the landscaping which I'm glad she says that because it just makes people believe me more because my yard looks absolutely terrible. She said they come back but she was so argumentative and said that if they even decide to give me anything back it'll only be $100 which is absolutely ridiculous. Because of them, I lost $800, I had to do landscaping myself after hiring a landscaper, and now I have to hire another landscaper to do a job I paid them to do but are clearly incompetent to do. And let me add that this is literally just the jist of the story. There's so much more they did that I could write a novel about it. Good Service. They are here when they say they will be. Charged what they said they would. Did what they said they would. I got what I paid for. Happy customer. I'll be staying with these guys. Awesome referral program. I have had my lawn cut twice for FREE. I referred two friends that signed up for service from Stanley and I was given two free mowings. Saved me $33 each time. I love that.
