If you enjoy thrifting you have probably shopped at a Habitat Restore before. This location doesn't price their items like most other Restore locations. So many things were priced with an absurd high price. The selection of merchandise is not that great. They have some items that should have been tossed in the dumpster. The only deals we saw in the entire store were the used books. They were priced fairly. Whoever is in charge of this location should ride to Salisbury and look at their operation, their selection, their pricing etc. Even the small collectables were displayed in a display cabinet with prices higher than an antique store. Even if they had a half price day most items would still be overpriced. Not good. read more

The pricing seemed to be all over the place. Somethings seemed a bit high, but there were some truly great values to be found. This store is massive and there is a large selection of furniture, housewares, lighting, etc. Worth a visit, and you are helping other people in their home ownership journey when you shop at Restore Stores. read more

This location is run by two ladies, who think that everything in the store is their personal items. I had picked up 2 $1 hardback books and took them to the register. Unprofessionally and loudly, she announced that the books were collector books and were $5 each. She also said that the stickers always ran the items by her so that she could print them. Pricing has always ran high. Salisbury is the best Restore for interesting items priced to buy! read more

I'm giving 1 star because it made me . I prefer negative stars for this particular review. Very very disappointed. I used to shop at this store often but recently, the prices have gone up to the point I should just pay retail if I'm going to have to pay the prices they have tagged on repurposed items. For example, I was looking for a comforter or bedspread for one of our spare bedrooms and I couldn't afford to buy a new one. In the past I found many ensembles at various consignment and thrift stores. I go to this particular Habitat store in Albemarle where I had found several in the past. There was a a no name comforter with some accessories, priced by habitat, for $200.00 for a used comforter ensemble ! I couldn't believe it when I saw that! Even in a consignment situation the most I've seen is 75.00 for a Biltmore set. iThis is not a consignment store! It is a thrift store. There should be a baseline price on all items. I can't afford to sink big money into secondhand items. Whoever prices these things must keep in mind people shop thrift so they can find things at decent prices and don't mind second hand items. The prices are way out of sight for the community it serves. I've noticed a drop in the amount of traffic so wake up and bring your paying customers back to the prices we can afford. Until then, I will go find my items at TJ MAXX where even they have you guys beat and I can buy new there! read more
