Family paid extra to have resume printed by 12:30 pm Store closed an hour early Staff would not just hand the resume sitting in back that she needed for interview in the morning. It's a hit or miss if this place will be open for it's listed hours. May have cost family member their job. Hope management fires the whole staff for not notifying customers, that are picking up rushed items, that they decided to close. read more

Yesterday Kacey at the Marlboro Staples was very helpful and courteous. I was trying to scan a bunch of documents at the self serve machine. He realized that for some reason the scanning did not go through. He took the documents and brought them behind the counter to get the job done right. I appreciated that he fixed the error. If he hadn't been standing by the machine with me I never would have realized that the scanned materials were never emailed to the designated recipients. Thank you Kacey. read more

I was 45 minutes from my home, and my phone told me that the closest location in Marlboro is rated 2.5 stars, so I had second thoughts about stopping. But I needed the supplies so I spent $450 on bubble wrap, paper, paper for packing, brown paper rolls, tape, 15 of the larges boxes, all sizes of manila envelopes, file folders, etc. It took me six trips to get everything to the car. This Staples location had everything I needed except they had only one roll of blue painter's tape, and it was the thin kind (but i bought it anyway.) I was immensely happy. And while I had minimal contact with about 4 employees, they were all helpful and pleasant, even walking me to the item I was looking for. The checkout guy was cool. So I've got to give it 5 stars. read more

In general, Staples is just not as superb as Office Max, and in Marlborough, you have the choice of either. With that said, sometimes the 10 minute extra ride down Route 20 isn't all that appealing, especially if you are on this side of town. While not a bad store, this specific Staples has a really weird layout and design in general. They keep it well stocked, well organized and clean... something that doesn't surprise me being that their corporate is so close by. Lots of furniture, and all the office supplies you could ever need. Prices are always great in the clearance section, but throughout the store in general .... most things are less on Amazon. Definitely open up the Amazon app or Walmart app if you want to price match for the best deal (and yes, they do price match). Or if you don't feel like dealing with all the price matching, and know exactly what you need (and it's something generic), Target is right across the street. This specific store is located in a small shopping center on Route 20 in Marlborough, close to the Sudbury line. The closest option for those who live on this side of the city of Marlborough. Store also has lots of decent services like the print and copy center as well as EasyTech, a desk that you can go to with all sort of problems with your computer or other electronic devices. Another plus about this specific location is the above and beyond friendly associates and never many people inside (sort of telling from the fairly full parking lot). 4 stars. read more

Sadly I believe Staples as a whole has gone way downhill and it's for 2 reasons: 1) lack of real customer-driven / customer experience technology 2) terrible customer service I print here relatively often just foto lack of other options and my order almost always is screwed up, the customer service is just horrendous and they're always unapologetic. Further, there is no consistency is the order process, no way to track your order and sometimes the printers simply don't work OR an order takes triple the time it ought to and there is no way to track how long it will take, if machines are broken or if the location is backed up, etc. This isn't exclusive to Marlboro - it is an enterprise wide problem. Staples, if you want to stay in business then start to focus on the customer experience. You're about to lose one long time customer because - wake-up call - you're not the only show in town anymore. I can't even imagine how many other Staples customers are totally fed up and also jumping ship for better and more reliable options. read more

I am a severe asthmatic and had to Dip into this location to nebulize. Scotty the manager was accommodating from the moment I walked through the door. He set me up nicely in the break room, helped me accordingly and literally saved my life. Once I caught my breath, he helped me get my phone charger that I needed and a super cool 3 ring binder/suitcase for my organizational needs. It's rare to see staff be so compassionate and helpful these days. Scott genuinely cared and I will be sending a letter to corporate in Framingham to make sure that he is promoted. If you want to be treated compassionately as a customer go to this location. Andy at the counter also did a great job. read more

All the salesmen are very nice. I'd be walking and one of them would ask if I need any assistance. They would open another cash register if the line grows. Also, no interrogations when returning items. In and out with returns! The crew at the copy center is great as well. Always been able to make copies the way I want it. If it's something weird, they would print out a test page to verify with me. As for the space itself - neat and clean. For the most part, I've been able to find what I need with ease. Sometimes, they have good deals on office supplies. read more

Disappointing Service. I had a customer purchase a Microsoft Office Key Card from Staples. While I was there working on their systems, she tried to scratch off the code and the card disintegrated. We were not able to get the code and it was obvious by looking at the card. I told her we would purchase it online so we could have it installed while I was there to help her and she could return the junk to Staples. Unfortunately Staples would not refund her but would only exchange so she is now stuck with 2 licenses that she does not need. I've always had good things to say about Staples in the past but this one is very disappointing. read more

I ordered same day print services in early morning went to pick up at 4:30 pm and was told it would be ready tomorrow. They needed a software update. Really! I never received a call or email to let me know. I paid for same day service and drove there. When I asked why I was not notified the 2 girls behind the counter just stared at me with no apologies. This was the 2nd I had a bad experience with printing there. read more

Really bad costumer service and shutting down equipment before closing. Walk into the store today 2/18/2017 at 8:30pm in need of some invitations for a baby shower, but the employee in charge of prints shut down all the equipment for printing at 8pm and there wasn't anything she could do to help me. Absolute terrible customer service. I sent something to be printed and showed up at the printing department. I waited at the register for almost 15 minutes while associates and the manager walked by me and didn't even acknowledge I was standing there. When the manager decided to acknowledge me, she tells me the associate to help me was on break and she would be back in a few?!? I can't believe I actually had the patience to stand there and wait until she came back from break. I will honestly drive a bit further and take my business else where. read more

I went into the Marlboro Staples yesterday to purchase some paper and bubble wrap.There was a very friendly associate on the floor who showed me where i could find my items. Wonderful experience, clean store, the manager is definitely on top of his game!!! read more

I've had very positive experience at this store. The associates and managers are always very helpful, they even insisted on carrying a ream of paper to my car. The store is always clean, well lighted, plenty of parking. read more
