When my evaluation was done (on a rainy day), the pt kept telling me I was progressing doing very well. I explained to her that both my legs was hurting and the weather only makes it worst! She then scheduled me to come in the following week. I went to my doctor and he sent me to get X-rays. After my X-rays, I was sent to Einstein Orthopedic where I was given steriods shots in both my knees and a brace to help walk until my surgery. I was referred to Moss Rehab for therapy. The doctor here wrote me a prescription for a cane and work directly with me to strengthen my legs muscles. Unlike Ivy who just leave you on your own and ignore your concerns

Physical therapy was adequate, according to my friend, a rehab patient. But. Run down building and property. Poor outside lighting in a parking lot. Poorly furnished rooms, with torn chairs and next to no furniture. Terrible bedding. Cafeteria like dining room with institutional type food. No bathroom in the room; only a toilet and sink with a curtain to pull for privacy. My friend recovering my serious surgery, was not helped to shower for the first two weeks he was there. No shower for two weeks! I would never recommend this facility to anyone.

During my sessions, my physical therapist would work with multiple other people at the same time, so I'd barely have any time with her. It seemed like I was given standard exercises that were not especially personalized to me. This was different from the treatment I'd been led to think I'd receive from the first meeting (the initial examination). There were some other bad things, but I won't go into the details. I'd recommend avoiding this place.

The myofacial release is very light on the body, and it is almost shocking how little massage is needed to get results. Since then, I have driven down to both her locations for myofacial release sessions and she is so so so fantastic at what she does. I have also done the emotional healing which is also amazing. I have had several injuries from a car accident to dance injuries to injuries from over-working at the computer and even emotional-related things from losing my father suddenly. I have learned one session has better and lasting results than weeks and weeks and weeks of physical therapy or other kinds of therapy that often result in 1-2 days of relief because she also corrects the source of the issue. In fact, after one session addressing the dance injuries, my walk was so free and my dancing was so light and free, that I was able to dance so easily and felt so light! I have overcome a lot of injuries quickly and gained balance in my body and more joy in my life with Jenn's sessions and support. I really like the attention to detail, holistic approach, and quick ability to find the root cause that Jenn exhibits into our sessions. She is so good at understanding people from a physical, emotional and spiritual perspective almost instantly it feels like! I've even brought my mom for a few sessions!
