I have been getting my haircut and beard trimmed here for the last year plus. There are multiple barbers here and they all give a great cut! I'd normally stay loyal to only one barber at a shop, but all of these guys are great. They're open 7 days a week, with great hours, so it's super convenient to go at almost any time. Recently, they made it possible to book your appointment online and pay ahead of time. I go in, don't have to wait, and the bill is already paid. I can't speak highly enough of this inviting and great local barbershop, not to mention they always offer a beverage and have great hair product available for purchase. read more

Online booking tool works like a charm, be on time, because he is, prices are not cheap, but also not expensive, he does a very good haircut, clean and with attention to detail, plus I love that straight razor feel in my neck - have been coming here for the past five months and am very happy - plus you can just fall out of the 24 tram and it's right there. For the past several years I've never gotten my hair cut from someone other than my stylist, let alone someone in a foreign country but I couldn't see my regular guy before I left on vacation. Since I really needed a cut I searched all over Amsterdam to find a barber that I felt comfortable with and would be able to give me a decent cut. I decided to visit Nadir and in short, he exceeded my expectations for an undercut and trim of my pompadour. He was very nice, detail oriented and expertly used a trimmer, shears and straight razor for my cut. If I'm ever in Amsterdam again and need a cut, I'll definitely go back to Nadir! read more

Nadir is absolutely amazing, I wasn't expecting much since I was far from home in California but I must say Nadir might have even done a better job than my regular barber lol. Absolutely terrible experience. Next to sexually harrasing me, the hairdresser did not have experience and it seemed like it was his first time cutting women's hair. I definitely do not recommend. The other hairdresser also had no clue what he was doing with my friend's hair. read more

Victor shaped me up (I'm an African American woman with a TWA) and Nadir threaded my eyebrows. My husband also got a little beard clean up. found nadir by yelp. it's actually called nadir hair salon. also if yiu have your gf, there are two ladies who do nails inside. nadir truly knows what he's doing. probably the most precise barber I've had in 5 years. just guide him and he'll make it happen. it's hard to explain but he truly pays attention to the smallest details. my haircut wasn't perfect bc I wasn't paying attention but id still go back with zero hesitation book ONLINE if you don't want to walk in. read more
