His inspection was so thorough, and he explained everything to me in terms that I could understand. He even came armed with filters, which he installed for me while he was at it. I have been a DIxie Care customer since moving here, and I have been very pleased with the service. The best part is that all of the technicians seem to know a little bit about each others area, which is helpful in coming up with a solution. Also, when I do need help, I get priority treatment because of my DIxie Care membership.

Then when CAEC turned on the electric to the house, there was a huge BANG and it brought down two transformers, and with them my whole neighborhood's electricity. First Electric had mixed up wires for the generator connection. I finally got the owner, Chris, to call me, and he said this was just "human error." This could have killed a human, so there's no such thing as human error with hundreds of volts. There is serious reason to believe that the owner and his employees are incompetent. I need to have a third party inspect their work before I'll let electricity into my walls because I cannot trust their work. I highly recommend in the interest of safety (and your checkbook) that no one ever hires First Electric.
