Nothing is worse than not getting back with people. Especially in this line of work. It makes it seem as if you don't want to help people fix their problems or do the work for them. Ive had roof damage from wind that Ive been waiting and the insurance company has been waiting for contact from Star Improvements for weeks now. A bid, an estimate or something. Nothing.. Very professional. Was the only contractor I could get out to look at my attic space to see what could be done to reinforce some rafters after finding some previous fire damage. Not only did they reinforce but also painted so that it sealed everything in and made it look better as well. Cleaned up well after the project. Couldn't be happier with the service and job! Seemed like a really great,honest guy when he finally came out to my place. Never called after I called the office to get an estimate. When I finally gave up on hearing from him & called him back again,he did come right out. He gave me some estimates, explained the issues, said he'd come out to fix a leak within a few weeks. Never showed up, never called & never returned my calls. Would definitely NOT recommend! read more
