I came in for a fill and needed a couple replaced, this was my first time in. I called yesterday and had my pick of times. Maddy did my nails and she did a great job. And she was patient with me when I wanted to reshape a couple (I'm SUPER picky--normally I have to reshape them all and I only needed to barely adjust a couple). The prices are reasonable and everyone was really nice. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town visiting family. read more

I've been using Star Nails for close to 3 years. John and Jenny have always done an awesome job including suggesting what method that I need to use, ie. dips or solar, which have always been right on the money. The atmosphere is always light but professional and as owners they engage with their clients very well. All of the staff, including Sandra and her crew of pedicurists are so friendly and accommodating as well as the price is right. I've taken my oldest granddaughter in as a "fun day" and the staff took great care of her and didn't suggest an actual manicure but just painted them as I had asked (she was only 8 at the time) I highly recommend getting your nails done here. Wife went in expecting a wonderful experience and was actually traumatized by the guy doing her nails - she asked him to soak the old nails off and he instead dremeled off and ended up tearing her hands up and leaving the old nail polish on her nails anyway - she also had signed a pedicure and massage and being too scared to just leave she went ahead with them - she said he was purposely trying to hurt her during the massage and when he placed the hot towels on her legs he said to let him know if they were too hot - when she said they were he laughed and said "bbq hot" and left them on her anyway - we will NEVER be back here again read more

The owner at Star Nails not only got me in last minute after never even having me as a client before, but he stayed after hours to get my nails finished. They were gorgeous, perfect! I got the Deluxe pedicure. Something that I particularly liked was that he knew what to do with my impacted toenails. Because of the way they grow, they get impacted. Most salons ignore it and treat them like anybody else, which just adds to the problem. The tech at Star Nails identified the problem and knew what to do. Another thing I liked was that he checked my cuticles AGAIN after resoaking them. I've never gotten a pedicure where they did that. An addition thing he did was he kept checking with me to see if the temperature of the water, his pressure, etc was okay. I told him I have Fibromyalgia, so my nerves are extra sensitive. I really appreciated the care I received. The ONLY complaint I have is that he completely left me when he was done. I sat there for 20-30 minutes afterward, which didn't bother me because I wasn't in a hurry, but I've never been to a nail salon where they don't help you with your shoes. I thought when I started moving to put my shoes on myself that someone would help me. From what I saw, this is common practice at this salon. Regardless, nothing's perfect, and I will definitely return. I just won't tell my husband to wait on me. lol! read more

The most unsanitary nail salon I have ever been to. There were other peoples finger nail clippings on the tables. They did not change the towels in between customers or sanitize the tools. The lady doing my pedicure dropped the foot scrapper on the floor mid pedicure then proceeded to pick it up off of the floor and use it on my feet. Not to mention that the girls working in there were braiding each others hair while they were painting customers nails. Overall, very unprofessional and unclean. I would go somewhere else. read more

I just love coming here. Every time I'm here everyone is happy and courteous. They always seem to know their customers really well. They do a wonderful job on manis and pedis alike, every single time. Pricing is always fair and they'll answer questions without hesitation. I was able to get in right away for a gel manicure and my nails look amazing! My tech was such a perfectionist and really took the time to clean up my cuticles, etc. She did three coats without me having to ask. The staff was very friendly and the salon was clean. Great experience! read more

This is by far the best nail place in town! They are very detail oriented and always do an amazing job. They listen to what you are requesting and will ask follow up questions to make sure you get exactly what you want. The pricing is pretty standard and reasonable. Multiple people recommended this salon to me and their nails looked great as well. read more
