This is a chain, and this location sits in an outdoor shopping center with a shared parking lot alongside LCBO and Cash + Carry. Farm Boy is across the street, if you need to stock up after. The food wasn't quite Texas-sized--we are in Canada, after all--but it was filling. I had the Popular, which came with eggs cooked to your preference (I chose scrambled), two bacon rashers, two sausage links, toast, and potatoes. I substituted fresh seasonal fruit for an upcharge of $4.50 instead of the potatoes. The fruit consisted of bananas, strawberries, pineapple, kiwi, and blueberries. Unfortunately, the pineapple and kiwi weren't quite ripe, so they were extremely sour and a bit scratchy on the tongue--not ideal. The white toast, however, was soft and delicious with an almost brioche-like feel to it. The waitress was sweet and kept our coffee cups filled, which is always appreciated. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here, but if you're in the area and looking for a hearty breakfast in a no-frills, family-friendly spot, I'd recommend it.
