So this was like my third time actually dining in for breakfast and coffee at a Starbucks. The location is a stand alone with ample parking. Upon arriving on a Friday morning around 9:45 the drive thru line was in full swing. Walked up to the counter and the cashier helped right away. So I am not huge coffee drinker and my daughter is matcha tea drinker. I ordered a tall latte with red pepper egg bite since the spinach, egg, and feta wrap was out. I also got a glazed donut. My daughter got a bacon and egg and gruyere bite along with the matcha tea. Got the orders in and waited around 12 mins for the food to come out. I was expecting everything to come out together but that is not the case. I am not sure if that is standard procedure but really if you are serving food and beverage designed to be eaten in tandem then they both need to come out at the same time. Ended up waiting another 10 mins for the drinks to come out. The quality of the food and drink was good but now willing to wait 22 minutes for everything to not come out at the same time especially if there is a premium price attached to them. read more

I've been to this location recently 6 times over the course of 30 days. 4 out of the 6 times, there was an issue with my order. The issues have ranged from 1.) me being told it is my fault for receiving my Frappuccino melted/watered down at the drive-thru because I put the order in too early although I submitted the mobile order while in line at the location and then confirmed it with the barista in line before getting to the window to receive the melted/watered down order, this happened on two different occasions with the same barista, I would attribute it to the wait time at this location, I requested that it be remade and then was told it's because I put the order in before arriving at the location which was false, 2.) I went into the location and placed an order but never received it and then I waited in line again to check on my order just to be told the item is out of stock so instead of communicating that originally, the individual employed to do that job disregarded the order I already purchased which resulted in a refund, and 3.) I happened to notice the location finally wasn't busy so I went inside again to order a Frappuccino, there was no one in line so I was able to walk right in but oddly I wasn't serviced right away, I almost felt disregarded, unlike when they are busy and taking orders back to back....working...harder...the irony. Someone finally got the individuals attention, they took my order, then the individual walked away, I sat in front of who I believe is the GM and waited about 5 minutes and just watched individuals behind the coffee bar joke and talk while working on drive thru and mobile orders. The individual who took my order came back and starts talking to them and then grabs an empty cup which I assume is mine so I'm automatically irritated because I saw that they knew an ingredient in the item I ordered was out of stock and disregarded it again! But this time I could see for myself because they weren't busy, the individual then calls my name and tells me so I changed the order although I should have just asked for a refund. I left but because I was so unhappy that my order has been messed up 4 out of the 6 times I've went recently, I went back inside and waited while a different employee who was directly in front of me but behind the coffee bar had her back turned to me. The individual by the drive thru window told them that someone is trying to order and their response back was "oh I'm aware, I'm just on my break" so the individual by the drive thru window then came to the counter and I asked about comment cards and surveys for this location. In conclusion, if you don't mind waiting 30-45 min for your order when they are busy, and still possible issues when they aren't busy, or even reordering your order/changing your order, this location won't be an issue for you. Personally, I can't deal with that type of service anymore. I value the money I work for and this location's staff does not present the best Starbucks product quality or service you normally pay for when you go to a Starbucks, that's essentially what you're paying for. read more

Asked to have powdered Cinnamon added to my cafe mocha and was told they could not steam anything other than milk in their Carafe for fear of shattering it. Now keep in mind the carafe is Stainless Steel and adding other ingredients to the milk will have no effect on that Carafe. Told them they are the ONLY Starbucks to say this and the reply was" We do it Right". This location is packed, which is a good thing but wrong if you go to the busiest times. This time frame is when people leave for work, at midday and afternoon after work. First, let me start with the positive. When our food came, it was delicious. There were several things wrong with the order but it was corrected by the waiter, who was polite. Secondly, it was 65 degrees outside and freezing cold (A/C) inside with the ceiling fans on full speed. We asked to have them turned off and were told they couldn't. Someone else asked and they were turned off, only to be turned back on a few minutes later. The hostess was very unfriendly and complained about being tired. A menu fell off the table and she did not wipe it off before putting it back. The wait staff all looked unhappy and a manager never came around. Even when the line is short, it still takes forever. 15 minutes or more it can take you to get through this line. I'm the girl with the purple hair sitting in the corner with her laptop. I've been here for a good two hours now, catching up on my Yelp reviews and sipping away at bottled water. When I first sat down and began writing my first review today, this was a two-star Starbucks. But as I've sat here a little longer, I saw something that wanted me to add a star. First of all, every time I've come here it seems to take a really long time to get my coffee. However, it's been made properly every time, which is more than I can say for "my" Starbucks back home. Today when my husband dropped me off around 11:15, the drive-thru line was all the way out of their parking lot back into the parking lot/right of way behind the restaurant. However, there were plenty of places to park in the lot itself. The restaurant inside was moderately busy, but it's clear that this location does more drive-thru business than in-store business. Here's a tip: USE YOUR APP, ORDER AHEAD, SKIP THE LINE AND PICK IT UP AT THE COUNTER. Seriously, people. You'll have to get out of your car, but you'll save SO. MUCH. TIME. When I came inside, there were two people in line ahead of me at the counter. One woman was giving her order at cash register #1; there was a man standing in front of me at cash register #2. The barista standing at #2 told him, "I just clocked out. Sorry. I can't take your order." While I'm sure there are reasons this decision was made, it didn't look great to customers who waited ten minutes to give their order in such a short line. I came here to write, though, so I'm obviously not in a hurry. I sat down and waited for my egg bites and bagel. (I didn't order coffee yet; instead i chose a bottle of water.) It took about six or seven minutes for them to call my name, and when I went to get my food, the dude apologized because he accidentally dropped my egg bites. He handed me a bagel and went to make me more egg bites. I did eventually get those and life is good. The bagel wasn't really toasted enough to my liking, but the egg bites were perfect. They were actually a little browner than I've ever had them before, which is my personal preference. As I have sat here writing, I take breaks to look around and make some observations. One thing that really hit me is how friendly and accommodating these workers are. It's probably why they take so long to serve their customers, and why the line piles up on them. I've personally asked other baristas at other locations if they could serve me my bacon gouda without the cheese. Every time I've been told "no" or "it comes pre-made." But I heard a barista call out, "Bacon Gouda, no cheese" to a customer. I knew it could be done! The sandwich comes frozen and it's so easy to take that cheese slice off there before you warm it up. It's just that no one else wants to do that for you. Whether it's a dairy sensitive or personal preference, I'd think it today's day and age where there are so many nutritional needs, Starbucks would be sensitive to that and instruct their baristas to remove cheese if their customers ask for it to be made that way. I'm glad to see at least one barista in one Starbucks in one town is doing that. That's what gave them the extra star for this review. read more

For the line being around the corner, I'm use to waiting 20-30 minutes in Corpus Christi, this line moved so fast. I was about to drive off then was like wow...wow... Of course it's the Grande Iced Coffee 2 Sweet n Low Special for me PLEASE. Daily starter, looks brand new, also another Starbucks within a mile from this location.... FREE WIFI, and the coffee was prepared perfectly. I've had inconsistent iced coffees at other locations. We ordered a Grande Americano with 4 splendas and cream and two Venti Lattes. The drinks were perfect however they were out of cream and made no attempt to refill when I gave them the empty canister. After a considerable amount of time waiting I eventually requested cream in a cup so I could at least have my coffee whilst other customers accumulated and waited. The service was friendly just enough but nothing outstanding or personable. The shop has ample space with a cozy layout and would be perfect for groups. The cleanliness was not up to par with noticeable trash on the floor throughout the shop and women's bathroom. The bathrooms were out of seat covers and dirty. The shop did not look like anyone cleaned it the night before for it to be in the condition it was in the early part of the morning. The BEST Starbucks I've ever been to! I accidently grabbed the wrong purse on my way out this morning trying to get to class. I realized this when I got to the window to pay. I was so embarrassed! :/ Explaining I couldn't buy the coffee, the very nice gentlemen told me not to worry about it, bring it next time. You just don't run across this sort of friendliness and trust anymore.
