This smaller Starbucks inside El Portal de Palermo (or Easy, or Jumbo, whatever you call this place) is pretty nice. It's quite new so the furniture is comfortable and it's not up to the brim like other businesses around.
Yeah, it's pricey. Yeah, it's not a delicacy. But it's Starbucks and we know it's good enough.
My only problem with this Starbucks is that I went on a Saturday morning as soon as it opened (because of course I hadn't slept yet) and the trash cans near that little bar with the napkins and sugar were almost full. And those little fruit flies were flying around, which was not a good sign for me.
I choose to believe it was an oversight, but it's not a good look.
I did go on a weekday, in the afternoon and it was clean enough. The service was cordial, but very slow when it came to what should be the quickest and easiest thing: the pastries. Weird. read more
