The location of this Starbucks is also good for the market which runs on Wednesdays and Saturdays in the town. The Starbucks itself is probably a carbon copy of every other Starbucks you've ever seen but they do serve good coffee and have some nice comfy chairs which is why they are so popular. If you go in there for a coffee, packet of crisps and a sandwich it is unlikely that you will come away with much change from a £10! They are heavily into their fair farming promotion as well, which is probably why you pay a bit more for the coffee (because its fair trade). The atmosphere is always nice and friendly in there, although if you get there at a busy trading period it can be a bit noisy and you may struggle to get a seat. Again, these are just testimonials to how popular the place is. Their food is lovely as well, again, a little over priced, but worth it for the quality of the food. I would definitely recommend Starbucks but perhaps not everyday, unless you're a millionaire!

With queues going to Wembley Park Underground Station basically lasting for the length of Wembley Way, I decided to call in this Starbucks branch to avoid spending time waiting in line after watching my Manchester City defeat Chelsea 4-3 on penalties to lift the Carabao Cup. This store is a new store which opened since my last visit to Wembley in August, which you can obviously tell with the cool, modern Starbucks with bar-style seating at the glass entrance which I like and find quite cool, and it is a brilliant location for the stadium but it does tend to get busy when there is an event at Wembley Stadium/Arena, like everywhere nearby in the London Designer Outlet and hotels etc. Opening hours are often extended for the events, with the Carabao Cup Final finishing at when this store was due to close, they stayed open to 8:30 which was pretty handy. After the game the store was packed and it began to be obvious there isn't enough seating to cope on an events day, the store was a mess with people queuing to order, and get drinks but they did handle it quite well considering how large the queues were, but having a runner take orders while people were in the queue or perhaps extending mobile order and pay (it wasn't active at this location) would have been a lot better. I ordered a Venti Iced Vanilla Latte, it was slightly more expensive than other branches at £3.40 compared to £3.10, but this small surcharge was acceptable as the drink was still a reasonable price, and you're basically paying for the location especially on an event day. My beverage quality wasn't too great, I did have to ask for cream (they'd forgotten to put it on despite it being clearly written on the cup), after stirring it was okay although it could have done with a pump or so more vanilla syrup, but considering how busy the store was it wasn't a bad attempt at all. A nice modern Starbucks, and probably the better of the branches in the Wembley area, beating the branch in Cineworld of the London Designer Outlet by far, in a good and much-needed location, I feel it does warrant a three-star rating but due to issues with the order process and even collecting my drink (they didn't shout out name but the order hence causing confusion especially when already busy), issues with beverage quality and perhaps the small amount of tables do let the store down to mean it does not warrant anything higher than a slightly generous three-star rating.

Well I ordered after about five people and my drink came out pretty quickly. If you need to use the bathroom they are locked and you have to get the pin code from them. I think they do this so homeless people can't use the bathrooms. Small place but filled with loads of people chatting with each other or sipping on drinks while listening to music or reading a book. What I love seeing when I'm at a coffee store. People were nice and friendly and I sat here for about an hour just sipping on my cup of joe. They smile when I get in and make conversation. Since I get from one to three Starbucks a DAY from four different places, most of the baristas recognize me. Unfortunately, there's a large turnover. Possibly Starbucks needs to do a little more to keep good employees? This store gets busy. They ALWAYS pass over the hot drinks for the cold ones, I guess they make more money on those - again, that's a Starbucks corporate thing, but it bites for customers who spend a lot of money and time developing relationships to get good service. One week ago, I ordered my regular. I say it slowly, and clearly, and happily repeat it. Grande. Takeaway. Soy. Latte. Warm. Extra shot. I try and WATCH the barista write it, but sometimes they move fast. Maybe in the future I'll slow the line down and ask to read the cup? In her haste, the woman writing it down wrote non-fat - cow milk - instead of soy. This is a fairly large problem for me. I'm vegan, and pretty darn lactose intolerant at this point. So...just in time for a nearby park, I puked it. I had only had a few sips, but it was enough. I called to complain, and the girls who answered sounded bewildered. Today, my husband ordered my regular again. I sent him a double spaced text, and since it got messed up the last time we were at this Starbucks, he assures me he ordered slowly and clearly. He popped out to where I was with our dogs, and took off. I took a sip, and thought it tasted extra sugary. Which is a problem. Not only because of the vegan - most sugar has bone char - and that's disgusting thing - because I have been avoiding sugar in general and my body hates it. I know there is sugar in the soy, and it does cause a mild discomfort, but it's bearable. Since many Starbucks worldwide carry different brands of soy...it would be hard to know the bone char situation. Maybe Starbucks Corporate can look into that? So after a couple of more sips, I realized that they had made me sugared soy milk with no espresso. I was super lucky this time to make it home to the bathroom before puking. About five months ago, I stopped drinking coffee, and therefore Starbucks. I started again after a month or so. After my second crappy experience...I guess I'll make coffee at home from now on. In fact, they do Strawberries And Cream perfectly, and faster than any other Starbucks I've been to. If you're after coffee or any other drink of theirs, and are near the centre of Kingston, go for the Bentalls Centre branch. They can get busy at lunch, as is to be expected, but with seats outside (sometimes), by the service counter, and around the corner for sofas, there are quite a few seats to go around.
