Walked in to grab a coffee for the road and stood at the counter for a solid 5 minutes staring at a girl training a new person. No acknowledgement just me standing there staring and waiting awkwardly until she decide decided she wanted to take my order. Finally got my drink and it was terrible. So there's that. Oh well. I'll just pass on by next time. I guess there's a reason this location has terrible ratings. I can confirm. Only thing going for this place is Rickie. At least he was friendly and asked how I was doing. read more

Barista Sheri is positive happy and shares a smile that lights up the entire room! She's started my day off right. This location has been a go-to for some time now and Sheri's pleasantness motivated me to write how much I enjoy coming here. Ambiance is great with music, bar style seating, booths, and tables both inside and out. My coffee is always fresh and on occasion when there's a slight difference from what I ordered (or thought I ordered) the staff are very happy to replace the drink. On occasion when they're out of a requested sandwich, an alternative is always offered and I've had som great new ones because of the suggestions. The parking is a bit tricky but there's a big open lot just a few steps beside the main lot. Take a friend and go enjoy your beverage at this location, you won't be disappointed! read more

Horrible customer service and the place was dirty! Someone in front of me ordered the last slice of lemon pound cake and so when I asked the cashier if they had anymore she said no. I asked if they had any in the back, she had a nasty attitude, rolled her eyes and checked. She came back and said they were still frozen. Next I go to order just black coffee, their coffees of the day clearly list Blonde Roast as an option but she said they were only serving Pikes. On top of all this place was very dirty! The countertops of the drink station looked like a gas station bathroom floor. read more

Welp here goes...decided to visit family in Lancaster, had a gift card from Christmas and decided to try one of their cold beverages. Waited in line for about 30 minutes (expected considering CDC regulations) ordered the blended strawberry lemonade and a blended regular lemonade- both grandes. Eight dollars later- not impressed, underwhelmed. Good customer service though- not a coffee drinker so I guess I will have to try the sweets next. read more

It's a Starbucks, so you expect long lines, but they are always sooo slow. And they are always "out of stock" of popular items. It doesn't matter the time of or the day of the week. Very disappointing. Staff is always nice however not properly stocking items is not a good look. read more

The worst and best time to go to Starbucks is in the morning. At least for this Starbucks. There is a large demand at this location so there are plenty of impatient people waiting on their order. The employees here are AMAZING! They continued to make drinks and food as quickly as they could. They did not show any form of frustration with the amount of work they had, they just continued to keep a smile on their face and were extremely friendly to everyone. read more

Drive thru service: Normally I am not picky about service but since it's the notorious "Starbucks" I was surprised at the service lacking in drive thru. I do not like the drive thru service in this particular because they don't sound cheerful when you're ordering. Also tends to cut you off assuming you're only ordering a drink. I mainly come because the coffee is always balanced right and at the end of the day, who really wants to sound like Disney members all 8 hours?? ))) Redemption in service: I ordered a Iced Peppermint Mocha w/ extra shot and they gave me a Iced Mocha with peppermint syrup. It was terrible, Straight sugar. And I knew from the color it wasn't the correct drink. The Iced Mocha did not have that dirty chocolate mocha taste I enjoy from the drink. We've been in DeSoto for the weekend for basketball and both mornings we've come to this Starbucks. The line is always long, so they are busy BUT I HAVE TO SAY the staff here is the MOST friendly of any Starbucks I've seen. Always cheerful and positive. Worth the wait :) read more

NEVER COMING AGAIN!! had to first wait in the drive through line for about 30-45 minutes. Then when I got to window I asked if the drinks were remade and was told no. Then I asked for them to be remade and the lady at the window caught an attitude and said "oh well you'll have to come inside" so I asked why, and she repeated herself, so then I said it won't take a long time to remake 2 SMALL drinks. And she just repeated herself again. So then I asked to speak to the manager to which he came over with the same attitude. His name was Nathan. He then said the same thing she did, and I restated my point, to which he responded passive aggressively telling me to come inside. So I did, and it took a whopping 3 MINUTES! to remake them. Then after I received them I asked for the girls name with the funky lil attitude, and he refused to tell me. I will be calling corporate, and NEVER coming back. Just came outta line at This Starbucks rn at 11:25 on 1/19 and for the umpteenth time this Rude Ass Guy acts like he can't greet me or say hello. He's skinny with wild hair and he walks up and just stands there. No hello, no how can I help you or anything. Wouldn't even open his dam mouth to say the total. I guess its my job to just look at the price on the register. Last visit he completely stood around & ignored me at the register until the same young lady asked him to serve me like she did again today. I always tip also but I simply refuse to tip this guy who acts like a total Asshole and for what reason i have no idea. We were helped by Akua who was inarguably the rudest, most unfriendliest person I've ever met. You could tell her attitude from the speaker box, without even seeing her. There was no greeting when we arrived at the window. She handed us our bags (didn't say which sandwich was which) and drinks without speaking at all. In fact, she never said not one word to me!!! I paid with my phone and she never thanked me, nor did she ask me if I wanted a receipt - SHE LITERALLY SAID NOTHING!!! If you don't want to work on the day after Christmas, you probably should work at a business that is closed. But when you are representing the Starbucks brand, you had better get with the program! Spread cheer or be gone! read more

This location is super busy because of the location but the employees handle their work load really well. The crowd is never really hanging out there, they are just in and out because a lot of the customers are just driving by on their Dallas/Austin/SanAntonio drive. So this is the typical "coffee and fresh air" hot spot. read more

I'm doing this review in partial defense of this Starbucks and because I really don't think this place is that bad. I went during lunch on a Wednesday and it wasn't busy at all. I was first in line and got my beverage in under 3 minutes (there were people in front of me who had those super complex orders.) My Americano tasted like a Starbucks Americano. I paid with my Starbucks app and got double stars cuz it's one of the bene's right now. For those of you who frequent Starbucks and don't use the app, definitely would recommend. Staff is nice and they do their job well, I've been several times and they have yet to mess my drink up so cheers to y'all. The place is nice enough, not dirty, and plenty of space to work. On a nice day there is space on the patio for you to gaze upon I-35 or the parking lot next door. The view may not be great but if you are hanging out at Starbucks for a view then gee you might be a little off. read more

Not to be rude of my own ethnicity but the female that took my order was very unprofessional. I had to repeat my order for just a single order of coffee several times. Like she just didn't care to listen. Then, she proceeded to stay with an open mic and be rude to her coworkers while customers could hear her. What happened to the happy Starbucks attitude? And my Caramel Macchiato just tasted liked hot milk with no flavor or espresso in it at all! Worst I've ever had from here. Smh read more

I would give no stars if i could. I have never pulled up to order at drive thru and have the worker be so extremely rude to me. I was placing my order and she typed it in wrong and when i tried to correct her she had a horrible attitude about me being wrong about an order i order all the time. I then ask for a manager to take my order and he comes to the microphone and says "go ahead" and i said well the lady that just took my order was extremely rude to me and he proceeds to just says "okay what's your order" i wasn't expecting ANYTHING but a sorry. This drive thru was also a 45 minute wait. If you go up 2 miles to the other Starbucks you will get quality service and people happy to help. read more

After reading the reviews for this Starbucks, I was very scared to stop and take a chance. We are out of town and just need some coffee fuel to make it home! I am extremely happy to say that today the other bad reviews were wrong!! I was greeted twice when I walked in, Clint took my order and was very helpful to recommend a different drink when what I ordered was out, and he also had patience while I paid with two different gift cards. My large order was ready fast and everything tasted great! Take a chance...I was pleasant and they responded with the same attitude! Thanks guys, happy trails from Houston! read more

I asked the current barista for a cup holder, she didn't acknowledge that she heard me ...I quickly apologized, before she ended up bringing it, and said I meant the cup slip cover. Can I have a slip cover? She passively aggressively (unfortunately a sista) asked, "would you like anything else??" We all know what that tone of ask meant! ... It was unprofessional. Guy was changing the garbage ... I asked/ suggested that someone sweep the floor... Because it looks gross... And as a customer, I didn't want to sit in filth. He just said "yes." Used to be my favorite Starbucks to go everyday for my regular but ever since they hired a full staff of new people maybe even the manager?? the lines take 30 minutes for 5 cars and the drive thru kid at nights Is EXTREMELY rude. Doesn't know anything about greeting a customer, just opens the window, takes the money and hands the drink with no words said.... even after me saying "thank you" very loudly as he handed me the drink, he didn't say ANYTHING and just closed his window. I REALLY think they should fire him. I hoped the drink would redeem the bad experience but they even made a simple pink drink wrong. My drink looked like WHITE MILK. I thought it was just a bad experience but I went back a couple more times at night and theres always the same black boy at the drive thru window acting exactly the same with his rude attitude and no customer interaction. It makes me mad because I used to go there every single day to get my usual and I loved the service and how the old workers treated the customers but now ever since they hired a bunch rude staff, they make the place seem ghetto and terribly managed. I have never been treated so poorly and just never have had such a bad experience at a drive thru Starbucks. Then the order was wrong and took a unreasonable amount of time to correct- I used to work for Starbucks so I understand how long things may take. This was a simple ass sweetener and cream to the coffee.. Thought they were short staffed but upon pulling up to the counter I saw that was not the case. Not friendly either. The worst Starbucks I've ever been to. This store lacks back customer service. The store had a wrap around line, which I typically wouldn't mind because I like their coffee. However, the employees were unbelievably rude, didn't even say hello, just rudely said the cost and grabbed our card. And then the product was watered down coffee. I'd literally pick any other coffee shop over this location of Starbucks. read more

this is my favorite Starbucks to come and sit at, it can get busy but the baristas are so kind and I've never had a bad experience if I need a drink fix or anything like that!! I will say though- I used to come here a lot to work on homework or work but the last few times I've come, the music is incredibly loud and it's hard to focus with all the customers trying to talk over the music. still love it here! just maybe not a place to work for the time being. (this coming from a former sbux barista - they handle the rushes so well and they're doing the best they can) read more
