I walked in not knowing what to order, but the barista was incredibly friendly and polite. When I told her I needed more time, she didn't rush me at all and just told me to let her know when I was ready. The shop is small but feels very cozy, and the restroom was clean. When I went back to the counter, she was so patient, she slowly explained the options and helped me choose something that fit exactly what I was looking for. The store is very clean. That is nice. Walked in to get a cup of coffee at 7am. 4 people standing arpund doing NOTHING. Asked me to wait a moment....i went to the ladies room and returned to find no dark roast coffee is even brewing. Nobody in the drive through line and we were the only o es in the store. Everyone polite. But I walked out. Call this a Karen rant if you want, but to expect to pay a superpremium price for decent coffee, and it's not even being brewed? Wow, I am so happy i found this Starbucks ! On my way to my sisters through the Central Valley, I need a pick me up. And the customer service is outstanding. Each customer is greeted with a smile. Despite it being early in the morning. The cashier was so friendly and didn't mind chatting with me about my road trip. And of course the coffee, an iced vanilla latte to save the morning. This location is always ridiculously / unnecessarily slow. I have given them multiple visits before writing this review and every time the service gets worse. Today I ordered my (not fancy) drink through the drive thru. It took a little bit for someone to greet me, but nothing too too crazy, just enough to notice. After ordering I turned the corner and saw there was one car ahead of me. It took about 3 minutes for them to pull away. When I got to the window I could see two drinks sitting by the window, but no cashier. After waiting a few minutes I checked the time. I watched the barista with the headset on walk back-and-forth (looking lost). She started stocking juice containers, and getting food items which I assumed was for the person behind me in line. When she finally came to the window she read my order to me and took payment. It took 8 minutes from the time I actually checked the time to even be acknowledged. Turned out the cup I saw sitting on the counter when I pulled up was mine. There was no reason to wait that long. read more

Starbucks has a app for your phone too where you can order ahead, view the menu, upload money to your membership card, find locations and so much more. Near This location is two gas stations, four places to eat and a motel. Pros- right off the freeway, cons- I have received a few watered down Frappuccino's, one time when I said something about it the employee just said sorry instead of offering to make me another. I make it a point to Stop at the Starbucks on 99 & Ave 181/2 when I travel several times a week coming and going I do passs a lot of other stores but I know these guys will make my order right everytime and they always have my cake pops. I use thE moble app and my orders ready when I get there and the staff is so nice especially the girl with the light brown long curly hair I don't know her name but she is very kind and sweet. I usually always order from this location and they are great everytime and they get very busy so I know things can get messed up but I'm writing this review because of the money I spent on NOTHING. I ordered a frap for my husband with 3 shots and it had ZERO. Mind you that's 3 extra dollars. I know how that sounds "oh you're upset over 3 dollars", well yeah I am. It's hard out here man if I'm dropping 3 bucks to avoid a caffeine headache then it's messed up to not give any. I ordered on the app so I have a receipt, and I went in there while they were very busy. The guy who made it was in a baaaad mood. He ignored my questions, and walked away. He was wearing a headset but I've worked drive thru before, you can hear someone talking to you -_- he kept his eyes down and purposely avoided me. He made one drink right out of the 3. One frap was ordered with 3 shots, and paid for, we got none. One dragon fruit drink was ordered, a small, extra ice. I had one of the best experience today! A kid was crying because they are out of brownies. One manager named Jay-Jay turned to the crying kid. He kneeled down to talk to the kid and introduced himself. He tried to cheer him up and offered something better. My family has a cafe business in Canada and its success is dependent upon providing an enjoyable experience for all our customers. Forget about above and beyond, that manager elevated customer service and exceeded expectations. Staff are not smiling enough though. But overall great experience!
