I've been coming to this Starbucks for the past couple of weeks since I recently moved to Miami Lakes. I actually used to live in this area before moving to Broward, and now that I'm back, I was so excited to discover there's a Starbucks so close to my home. I've been a Starbucks customer for many years, so having one nearby is a huge plus. I had the pleasure of meeting Greg, one of the supervisors, and I was very impressed with his excellent customer service. The entire staff is friendly, professional, and always provides outstanding service. The drinks are consistently great, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming every time I visit. The Mocha Cookie Crumble was so chocolatey delish. The added cookie crumbles were like an explosion to my taste buds. In a good way. To be good ... I requested non fat milk. Just re-opened and although it is nice inside the best part of this location was the outdoor seating/tables that allowed you to study and work from your laptop-- now most of these except for two are gone. Please bring back the tables! I used to spend hours and buy a bunch of coffees to fuel me as I did. I understand the in and out trend is winning over having cafes be third spaces but this was one of the few that had a cute and functional outdoor seating area and I loved it. read more

I am so happy to see this Starbucks be so inclusive! Specifically I want to thank ELIZABETH! After noticing my brother was hard of hearing she quickly jumped in and helped him place his order. She even tried using sign language to have him better express himself. This is so important for the inclusivity of all customers. After having to deal with Joel, who was short in his responses and not willing to accommodate my brother's needs, this was a breathe of fresh air. Unfortunately, Joel wouldn't address my brother (the customer) and would quickly overlook him and communicate with me. He seemed impatient and unwilling to cooperate and barely even acknowledged him. This was extremely frustrating. As well as he was rude to poor Elizabeth who was helping the overall situation. Very unfortunate that he is unwilling to address others who are different than him. Order takes WAY too long. Estimated time for the order to be ready was 3:46 PM and the order was ready at 3:55 PM almost 10 minutes! Pretty sure they are understaffed I saw one barista making orders and another one taking orders. They should hire more. read more

But first... COFFEE! Now and forever, coffee is a necessity for me. It doesn't matter what day or time it is. Consequently, my friend being in town and knowing this made it so we would meet up at Starbucks. I know, I know. This coffee chain is everywhere and with good reason. This particular location can be found in Miami Lakes with nearby neighbors Chipotle and Einstein Bagels. Heck, right in front of it, there's another plaza with more places to eat like Outback Steakhouse. It's definitely centrally located in a busy area. That being said, for such a busy area, there is no drive-thru. Gasp, I know, but other than that, no complaints. Staff is attentive and efficient, and well, there is plenty of parking. read more

Worst customer service I have ever experienced in any Starbucks in my life. I went for a third time this week because I got coffee for them to grind. Every time I ask for a regular espresso grind. They never get it right so I find myself going back 2 to 3 times a month. Today, I went, and apparently there was a manager there. An African-American lady, with two braids and tattoos all over her hands told me that I needed to check my stuff before I leave that they were not there to help me out every time that I wanted. She told me that she was going to help me out this time, but never again. Mind you, I do not need to check something every time that I go. If I ask for service, and pay for it. I shouldn't have to be babysitting. Instead of me checking, they need to train their own employees. I understand that everyone makes mistakes, but this happens all the time! This, it is a problem. That's not even what bothered me the most. It was the lack of customer service, and the way that I was treated in front of other customers and employees. Well see I have this list "Late Night Gourmet" which takes into account businesses that are awesome outside normal hours of food consumption. This SB is one of those, specifically around 6:20AM, as I headed into my office for a marathon 36 Hour deadline. At 620 in the morning, I was able to get my venti iced latte and just as importantly, my sweet, soft and pillowy Mallorca bread! This Starbucks is in a very convenient location to start off. It's right next to a CVS and chipotle, and other restaurants including Latin American Grill, a sub place, and smoothie king are nearby. It makes this location a great one to go, also because it is next to a gas station. The actual Starbucks is great too. I've come here for years (and I mean literally, like 8) and I've never had a bad experience with a drink, food item, or barista. The baristas in particular are always pleasant. Since this location is in a prime spot, I highly recommend downloading the Starbucks app to be able to order ahead and be able to just stop by and pick up your drink, just in case you come on a time when there's a bit of a line and you're in a hurry. They are very friendly and on the rare occasion they mess up a drink (I'm here everyday) they don't give any stink about remaking the drink or offering a substitute. The best location for my pre-workday coffee, especially in Monday's! Or for my after-lunch pick me up. Service here is excellent and the line moves fairly quickly for being so busy! However, I do try to mobile order as often as I can do I can avoid any crazy lines in the mornings. This location has outside seating which is nice and there is never a shortage of seating inside as well. In love with this Starbucks! Close to home and it's always been the best one I have ever visited by far. I used to visit on and off and I always liked it, but now since i have a more daily job and a more on -the-go life style, caffeine is a must. I went ahead and started myself with the Starbucks memberships and I visit here almost every day. To start, the drinks are always made to perfection. Frappes, teas, coffees, you name it, and they're all great. My personal favorites would be a Venti Caramel Macchiato for a busy day at work or a Venti Jade Citrus Mint tea for a calm drink. The employees there are what make this Starbucks like none other. Every employee has a great attitude and are always super friendly no matter what time of day. They remember names and always make great conversation with their guests. They are super efficient and know exactly how to handle the rushes of people that come through the doors. Having a bad day? Go ahead and just visit to be surrounded by positivity! The actual place is very homey and cozy. There are desks to study or just enjoy a drink with friends.
