This Starbucks is definitely not one of the best. I walk in there very day for the past year now and they still don't know my name. The drinks are ok but sometimes not so much. Every time I go in I never know if they are going to get my order right or not. They seem to go through staff fast it is like a revaluing door. I would just like to say that they sell more than just coffee and have a pretty decent selection. It's also a nice, comfortable and quiet place to use the free WiFi and finish whatever project or assignment you are working on in peace. Of course you can just relax and do nothing too. I came at 4:55am 7/17/17 for coffee, being the only one there with my boyfriend I was shocked at what I found in my coffee cup. I was on a trip and already to far away to go back when I got half way through my cup and found this RIPPED PLASTIC BAG in my coffee!! I don't understand how they didn't see it when making my coffee, it's beyond ridiculous I'm disgusted. Aside from it being so disgusting it had pieces that could have came off I'm still unsure weather I drank pieces of the plastic. I could have choked. I'll never go back to this location. This is a consistent problem with this location. This is BARELY half full and it was just a regular hot chocolate, no weird order changes. There is NO whipped cream and the flat white is also approximately 1/3 foam (I know a flat white comes with a layer of foam but this is NOT standard). I avoid this location but it has been a few months and I figured I'd give them another chance but once again they disappoint. There was NO line, either. There's no excuse. I had to repeat myself at the drive through and the barista at the window was too busy talking to their coworker to pay any attention to what they were doing. I visit this Starbucks maybe once a month when I'm traveling through, but every time I stop I'm amazed at how well the store is run. I used to work for Starbucks so I see what many others don't. Their partners are always stationed, you know who is supposed to be doing what, they make suggestive sales, and they greet every person who walks in even if it's just a mobile order. And they actually call out the names of mobile orders when others do not. The manager is on the floor often and she works harder than anyone else. Great job to Desi and her team, this store sets the bar. read more

My friends and I were drained of the necessary caffeine we need to complete our day, but thankfully we stumbled upon this lovely Starbucks after our grueling long trip from the mountains. Fortunately enough, not only did I leave with my beverage made to perfection, but I left with a smile on my face from the friendly staff. Been to this location multiple times as its the closest to my house. Very SLOW. Customer service and interation is next to zero. This last trip in did a mobile order. Walked in about 10 minutes after order was submitted and it was still on the printer. Sootd there for another 10 minutes and not one "can i help you?". Only after i asked about my drink did they look for.the order. They found it and put.it at the end of the line like it was just placed. The app is supposed to be a way to preorder and get ahead of the lines and save time. This is just more salt in the wound with the history ive had with this location and its staff over the past three years. Not sure why its only this one location. If you go to this location be sure your not in a hurry and you have plenty of patience. If not go.to the other one down by mcdonalds and you get the normal service most starbucks have grown acustom to. :( read more

The drinks are always good, but the service leaves alot to be desired! Unless the manager is behind the counter it is though their conversation is more important than the customer service. I was just in there. As on many occassions, the cashier was having a conversation with a customer friend of hers and completely ignored the fact that I was waiting to order. The girl making the drinks was taking orders from the guy in front of me and myself as the other girl finished her conversation. Oakdale has to locations. This drive thru is the longest one in the Central Valley. I am not too sure why this locations takes forever. I would get out and grab my coffee, but I have a little in my car. People who are parking are getting out with their order before I haven even been able to order. I thought it was suppose to be the opposite where drive thru is faster than going into location. Note for future I will take a little longer drive to go to the other location. read more

I love starbucks, I usually get 2 teas and 4 cookies for my mom and I, I never have any problems with starbucks service. There service is always really friendly but there wait time sucks, I've had to wait up to 15 minutes in line. The only problem I have is I never get my complete order when I'm at the window. I always get my teas and they are made right, but I never get my cookies I always have too tell them that I have 4 cookies with my order as well, every single time I go to this location. Then I have to wait longer while they go look or bag my cookies. If they keep this up I will stop going to this location altogether. read more

Well another 10 minutes go by and I get my other coffee. At this point I was irritated and tried asking one of the workers for a manager and they just ignore you. I had a long drive home so decided to hit the drive thru for an extra coffee caramel frap. There was one car in front of me, not bad but they took forever! I chalked it up to them ordering a ton. It was finally my turn. I pulled up and waited at least 3 minutes until the window opened for them to take my payment. I paid, he closed the window and it felt like another 3 minutes until I got my 2 drinks. It was way too long of a wait for a Starbucks drive thru where there was only one car in front of me and none behind me.
