I was able to stop by Starbucks for an early breakfast run before heading to Universal. Luckily this was right by our Airbnb location. There was no one inside early in the morning. That was surprising for a Starbucks. Usually they are filled for the majority of the day. We ordered the usual breakfast sandwich with a vanilla iced coffee. The food came out quickly and the coffee was good. It feels as if these sandwiches keep getting smaller every time I come to Starbucks. i came into starbucks at around 10:40 am on may 3rd. a black girl took my order while wearing headphones and singing along in front of me, i ordered a venti banana bread matcha with coconut milk. i recieved a grande and asked nicely for a fix. the woman initially seemed very annoyed so i apologized for the confusion and offered to pay the difference, she let me know it's okay and they'd remake it. what they gave me was 40% incorrectly made very watery cold foam & oatmilk matcha that was not even stirred properly. i am allergic to oatmilk and had to use my epipen after my throat started closing up. do better & have your employees try to do their job instead of rudely ignoring customers orders to listen to music. i work at another starbucks location myself so im always very understanding and sweet to service workers but this is very unacceptable. read more

Whatever you do, do not visit this store between 3:30pm and 4:30pm. There's always a bunch of rowdy teenagers cursing up a storm and harassing customers for money. Management doesn't seem to care about losing customers. God forbid they offend someone. read more

Came in to grab a hot drink on a cold day. No line so our party was able to walk right up. Placed our orders individually and obviously gave our names since they ask for calling out when your order is ready. Well drinks ended getting mixed up because they didn't call by name of person, instead they called the drink. Two of us ordered the same drink but mine had coconut milk. My friend also got a granola bar and upon eating it found it to be stale. In looking at the best by date, it was expired!!! She did go to let the staff know and they gave her a refund. This particular location has been around for a while. It's in the heart of the Summerlin / Thornton park area. this particular location also does not have a drive-through, so if you're looking for something quick this may not be for you. they also do not have their own dedicated parking lot so you'll have to try to find parallel parking or use the garage and pay for parking in order to get to this one. They have a good amount of seating inside and the rest of the location is pretty typical for this chain. they have merchandise for purchase on the right hand side when you enter and then the cash registers are to the back. The staff here is always super nice and they get the drinks done quickly. I've never had a problem with my drink being incorrect once I ordered it. Overall: A asolo location for this chain. However, they do not have a drive-through and it's also difficult to get parking if you want a quick in and out for your coffee. read more

This used to be my favorite Starbucks location. It has now gone to garbage. The employees aren't friendly and seem disinterested in anything, mostly they're job. There used to be multiple people to help you but now there are only two and both seem distracted by tasks that should probably be done after hours like stocking, refilling etc. I walked up and waited 4 minutes to finally be helped by someone that was crouched down under the counter, I'm guessing refilling something?? Starbucks is simply a Starbucks. I visit Starbucks two or three times every week. I've never had a bad experience at any Starbucks, and I always leave with a big smile since everyone is so joyful and happy, but this location in particular has terrible customer service. I feel attacked, as if I'm upsetting them by walking in there. The majority of the workers, including the boss, are unpleasant; it's as if they wake up on the wrong side of the bed every day. If you have the choice to choose another place, I strongly advise you to do so. read more

I come to this Starbucks often, it's close to downtown and to the Lake Eola park. I usually stop by weekends when I go to the park for any festivals or events going on. I also like to go and do some work and some writing. This is one of the Starbucks that have visited consistently for about 10 years or more, if you drive there, they do have parking for 30 minutes I believe in the back in the building garage, that's a plus even though I always end up parking on the street. read more

The closest I've ever gotten to trying the actual taste of the espresso at Starbucks would probably be their espresso Frappuccino, so I was a bit nervous about order this here. Seemed a bit big for a con panna but eh, maybe it's the smallest cup they have. If I was the barista I probably wouldn't have filled it up all the way to the top with whipped cream and maybe have left the lid off but no biggie. It was cute. Overall, I'd say the espresso was neither good nor bad, and the whipped cream had very little effect on the flavor. The blonde espresso is quite neutral. All in all, satisfied in the end though. read more

First of all, I love Starbucks. And I'm just going to go ahead and say that even if the day comes when their lattes are $7 a pop, I will probably still love Starbucks. That being said, this Thornton Park Starbucks is perfect---not too tiny, but not huge and overcrowded either. I have been here a few times and ordered drinks, and to my knowledge nothing has ever been off, which is always a good thing. For the location (a small plaza off of a street in Thornton Park), there is plenty of seating. Inside, there is a good amount of seating--perfect for a short business meeting or just surfing the free wi-fi. And there is additional seating located outside both Starbucks and the several businesses next door--Chilli Spoons Froyo, Tijuana Flats, etc. As a few other Yelpers have mentioned, there is free 30 minute parking in the garage located immediately behind the Starbucks, which is perfect if you'd like to hop in, grab a coffee, sip it, and then be on your way. Personally I wish I were in the Thornton Pk area more so that I could frequent this SBucks. :-) read more

Did a mobile order on our way home. We parked in a 7/11 parking lot because we didn't see any other parking besides street parking opposite of where Starbucks was. They were quick and got our order right. Only downside is we ordered a venti hot drink and usually they double cup it at other Starbucks because it gets too hot. This review is about lack of parking. The quality of this Starbucks is as expected and I thoroughly enjoyed my $65 latte. There is no visible parking nearby and you will get towed if you park in the adjacent 7/11 parking lot. I ran in 30 seconds to pick up a mobile order and TowTruck Company was hooking up my car as I walked out. I shiz you not! It was 30 seconds!! My order was ready and waiting and I grabbed it and ran back out. After paying TowTruck Company $60 cash (he directed me to the ATM inside 7/11) to leave it I then parked across the street to watch him operate as I was baffled as to how fast he caught me. He sits on the other side of 7/11 and watches people park then walk in to Starbucks. When you're 10 feet from the door he starts rolling and by the time you step in he's almost to your car. I suspect he knows mobile orders are fast. It happened to me and I witnessed it happen to others. I know this is not Starbucks fault and clearly there are a ton of no parking signs and 7/11 parking only signs so I take full responsibility but everyone knows 30 seconds never gets you towed. It would be nice if Starbucks put a sign up that says "If you parked at 7/11 you WILL be towed." read more

I have been coming to this Starbucks for years and have never really had a bad experience; however, my experience this morning prompted me to write this review. When I walked in (around 6:30), there were no less than 5 people (not employees) sleeping on the chairs, tables, and couches. There was also a foul smell throughout the entire seating area. This was absolutely unacceptable. I only ordered a bagel, for which I waited about 8 minutes to get and was the wrong type when I received it. I don't often find myself in this area, so it's easy to forget there's even a Starbucks over here, luckily there's an app that helps me find near-by coffee places... When I arrived there was a sign posted out front that customers could get up to 30 minutes free parking in the attached parking garage. That would have been great to know before my pathetic attempt at parallel parking on the street. Next time. Learn from my mistake and take advantage of the garage parking. So, on to the actual Starbucks. 9 am and there was almost no line and drinks were being served up very quick. I guess that is the advantage of no drive-thru to distract you. Our drinks were made perfectly and everyone who helped us was pleasant. Having skipped breakfast I ordered vanilla scones for my daughter and myself and the cashier told us there was a deal if you bought three. So my daughter ended up with two scones. She was happy. I like that this shop has plenty of seating and the space is arranged well. It doesn't feel too crowded. Overall, great shop.
