I was just in Starbucks in PlymoiiMichigan. And as a former health inspector. I watched all the female playing with their hair and going to the face and you are supposed to Wash hands when you do. The food is disgusting and I saw no hand washing by anyone of the employees. Ambiance there's nothing like that here at Starbucks in Plymouth. This is the best Starbucks I've ever been to! I came to meet my friend to study on our final and the service was excellent! After putting in my order I only waited around 2 minutes and it was ready! Just stopped into my local Starbucks. It's not what it used to be. There is no family oriented place in sight. It is strictly upselling and the manager micro managing the employees from what I can see. I then got my food and drink and it was made completely wrong by some kid with glasses and blonde hair. He didn't seem to know what he was doing whatsoever. My food tasted a little bit dry and stale, it was even taken from the glass with flies surrounding all the food. I am truly disappointed because I've been such an avid downtown Plymouth fan, but I might have to take my business elsewhere. read more

Parking can be a challenge, especially during peak times or when the weather is nice. They do not have a drive thru. This makes it difficult to grab a coffee with small children. The location is also smaller. If you can grab a chair or table, it's a nice, quiet place. If you are waiting in line for your coffee, though, it's going to be a tight squeeze. read more

When I used to work in Plymouth, this was my stop-over on my way back from lunch... I miss Plymouth had was in town for a meeting one morning and stopped by to get usual (granted, I don't think the staff members would have remembered since it's been over 5 years)... Thankfully, I was able to find a parking lot right across the street (2 hours of free parking)... walk in, placed my order.... Venti iced hazelnut Latte with nonfat milk... One thing I have noticed is, no matter where I order this drink, it always tastes different.... I'm not an expert on why, but I can taste subtle difference. I visited during the morning and the place was picking up with folks... parking I'm sure can be challenging during the weekdays... they do offer parking in the back of the building, but it does get full most of the time... I like this Sbux in DTP. It isn't the warmest or coziest green mermaid store you'll ever set foot in, but it's a good little spot to get your fix. There is a big padded bench across one of the walls with tables and chairs on the other end and some single tables and chairs around the store. The seating is a little cramped for my liking (I am not a fan of community or near-community style tables), so I just get my caffeine to go. The people that work here are friendly, however if you ask them something out of the norm , though totally doable, be prepared for disappointment. I'm not talking cottoncandyredvelvetcrunchcupcake secret menu frappucino out of the norm either.. but whatever. This store has a pretty decent collection of cups/tumblers/mugs and some off-the-wall snacks. Prepackaged olives, anyone? I can't say I ever simultaneously crave a frappucino and some kalamatas, but hey - if you do, they've got you covered! There's no place to sit so most of the time ur gonna end up standing somewhere were people get the drinks they ordered or they will just yell at u like you did somthing so bad like u have to get arrested for it. Next, Starbucks has a secret menu where u can order drinks that have a special flavor. First of all they suck and they acted like they had no idea what I was talking about. Like all of my friends ordered off the secret menu and got the Same thing I did. And you can't just say the name of the special drink you ordered. This Starbucks is NOT handicap, wheelchair, walker, cane, or other assistive device friendly. there is a huge step to enter the building and no ramp. The store placed a handicap button outside their door for service. We cannot enjoy a cup of coffee with friends at Starbucks because there is no way for us to enter. The laws governing restaurants, eateries, and other public places is clear, all venues serving the public must, under the Americans with disabilities Act (ADA) be accessible for all patrons. This is includes people in wheelchairs. The front step is very high. ADA has been on the books for over 30 years and yet disabled people are still treated as second class citizens. We have to beg to gain access. Worse, when I asked the manager, she said the hotel next door closed down. They made handicapped people walk around the block and use the hotel entryway, then take an elevator to the second floor, and walk around back to the store to get into their shop. Finally, they said they were undergoing a remodel. I asked "when?" they said "soon." This store has been there for over 10 years. And it is till not handicap accessible, meaning, there is no way for a person in a wheelchair, walker, etc to get into the building. By law, they are required to have a ramp. This is a sad commentary on this Starbucks. read more

I'm typically with my kids in d-town Plymouth, so if I need a coffee, this is a very convenient place to stop. However, its not convenient if I have the stroller. There are steps to get in the entrance and very crowded to try and get through to place your coffee order. The coffee is typical Starbucks. I think they could have done a better job designing this location, keeping in mind the heavy foot traffic and volume of busy moms with kids in tow trying to get their fix before nap time. read more

Ordered a grande and received a tall. Staff very courteous to fix mistake and promptly made us the correct sized drink. Double chocolatey chip frap not mixed very well. This is always a super busy location, but the staff is always on top of it. Like today when there was only 2 baristas working behind the counter. One was taking orders and the other was making drinks. I ordered a grande pink drink and moved to the end to wait for my drink. There was this lady there wearing a green tennis skirt and white top who was on her phone while complaining to the barista that she wasn't going fast enough *eye roll*. Apparently this person had mobile ordered for another location and then put in another mobile order for this location and decided to take out her frustration for making this error on everyone else. When her drinks were finally done, she rudely asked for a carrier and asked to get new lids on the coffee cups because they were slightly squashed. Then she decided to cut in the ordering line to complain about how she's been charged twice for her mobile orders and that since the other location wouldn't pick up, they should try to credit out one of those mobile orders for her. I tipped them extra because they stayed cool and were super helpful trying whatever they could do about the duplicate mobile order even though it wasn't their fault. I commend you baristas! read more
