Starbucks are always faithful, no matter where you are. They have friendly staff and offer a clean environment for relaxing, reading, or whatever works for you. I did not order food but I did have a grande creme brulee latte with soy. It was on point. The extra shot of espresso gave me the added push to finish the day. I ordered 2 drinks via mobile app. Mobile app road be ready in 4-7 minutes. great, take me 10 minutes to get there. i went to the mobile counter and no drinks. 1 lady working the drive thru and looked at me but didn't say hi or ask what i was waiting on. 2 more women working the coffee machine next to mobile counter never said hello or asked what o was waiting on. bout 15 minutes after the drinks were suppose to be ready, one of the ladies asked.. i stated what i was waiting on and guess what?? Worst Starbucks I've ever visited! Only 2 customers ahead of me that only ordered 2 drinks and my wait was more than 30 minutes. The barista gave my first drink and waited 15 minutes later to ask me what my other drinks were. Got my second drink and had to wait an extra 15 minutes for my third even though all 3 drinks were ordered on the same ticket. Unbelievable! Most terrible service I've ever experienced! Drink was wrong , food was wrong , this place sucks. I ran inside thinking the drive through would take longer considering it was backed up .. my mistake... I waited for 30 mins!!!! When finally I went up an asked about my order . Turns out they didn't ring up everything ordered.. and ran out of ingredients to make my drink. so I had to reorder and wait again . 12 people who came in after me got their orders.... And now I'm 30 mins late to an appointment I had scheduled for this morning ... very disorganized team / system they have going on in there.. and I'm very disappointed in my drink / entire order / experience. This location has issues. I know what you're thinking. You're thinking that if I went to a local coffee shop I probably wouldn't be writing this review. While you may be right, you should also probably mind your business. Sometimes I want decent coffee that is super convenient. A little while I ago I was in need of just that and happened to be on the Twin Span Bridge. I figured I could head for the drive-thru here, get a massive coffee, and turn around and head back across to Nola. What a mistake that was. This Starbucks is like all the others as it relates to the products they offer. Where it isn't like many others I've visited is that this one is slow, difficult to get in and out of, and their coffee often sucks. Located in the massive retail development Fremeaux Center, it is relatively easy to get in to this location. That is where the problems begin. The way the store is designed the drive thur almost constantly blocks the parking lot. So while you're waiting you always have someone trying to leave which causes gridlock. Making matters worse is that the drive thru moves at a snails pace. I don't know what the issue is, but I have never received quick service here. Once you finally do get out of the drive thru (it took me about 20 minutes last time), there is no easy way back to the main road. You actually have to drive towards the shopping area, enter a roundabout, and dodge the morons who have no clue how to drive in a circle before you can leave. It is probably the most inconvenient Starbucks in Louisiana. After this whole debacle I took a big sip of my iced coffee and nearly spit it out. After all that, it tasted old and burnt. If I weren't a tree hugging environmentalist I would've tossed it out the window. If you want Starbucks in Slidell, I recommend the Hwy 11 location. It is worth the extra drive. read more

They have some pretty bad Yelp reviews, so while I was waiting in the drive thru, I was definitely nervous! First off, it's almost impossible to make a turn in here, we actually even saw a fender bender after we were leaving. Not something Starbucks can change overnight. Waiting in the rain for almost 15-20 minutes for a smaller size of something you did not order is definitely not the way to make your customers happy. I've never really had a problem with this location. Sure they get backed up sometimes but honestly that's most Starbucks. I have had a handful of times where they have been out of a certain beverage but it's not like there isn't any other option. Every time I've come the staff are incredibly patient and friendly and seem genuinely apologetic about any wait time I had to face. I will admit I'm not a huge fan of the way their parking lot and drive through are set up but I don't come here based off the layout. All in all you should come here and make your own judgement. I went through drive-through with my boyfriend to get a drink when we pulled up to the window to pay for our drinks a young man behind him was using the broom from the floor, to sweep off the counters with putting the dust pan FULL of dirt and trash right on top of where the drinks went to sweep up the crumbs from the left over drinks. I used to work at this store and it is the highest volume in Slidell. Also it's not their fault about the parking lot so take that up with corporate the people in the building make coffee not design the parking lot for Starbucks... get a grip Also side note and it's gonna shock a lot of people ... the baristas ... are HUMAN ... not robots or monkeys you make dance. I stop here often since it's near to the house. I always order ahead and even though I may not be the most cheerful in the morning, these folks know how put a smile on my face. It's always a joy to walk in and be greeted by some awesome people. They even suggest different drinks for me depending on what I'm ordering. I have been to this location on several occasions now. The tricky part about this location is if you are leaving and NOT heading toward the shopping center. You still have to turn right to go to the shopping center and then go through part of the parking to head back out to go to the freeway, or out of the shopping center. That can be a pain, especially during peak shopping times. Their parking lot is small to say the least, and when the drive thru is backed up, it can be a pain to get out of your parking spot to leave. The interior is small. There is an outside area to sit. The drive thru is easy to get through though it is not always quick to get through. I have no major complaints or compliments either way. read more

I guess I'm gluten for punishment. Today I was rerouted due to a tree blocking the road. I've had bad experiences at this Starbucks that ranged from inaccurate orders to "oh my goodness they're slow" service. I promised myself that I would never go back to this store because I really don't like getting upset but this day I really wanted my morning fix and I had a few extra minutes to burn so I decided to go anyway. Today was slightly different because I got a double dose of BS: unprofessional behavior and poor customer service. First mistake, I placed an internet order because I really loath interacting with the staff here because they can be confrontational at times so I placed an internet order. I ordered a coffee, egg bites and a breakfast biscuit. It took me about five minuets to get there so I waited outside a little while longer to allow them some additional time to put the order together When I entered the store I noticed that my order was not ready which was no big deal, I had a few extra minutes to burn. The barista called my name and called me over to the pickup counter. She made me aware of a mistake that I made using the Starbucks app, and verified my order with me. I'm thinking "good job" to her and stupid me but I screwed up, but that wasn't the end of our conversation. She began fire a barrage of condescending questions at me as if to remind me that I made a stupid mistake which I had already owned up to. Silly fat fingers. After repeatedly telling her I understood, she finally released my drink. Thanks. I noticed that they were pretty busy so I sat and waited for the rest of my order. After about 6 walk-in customers later , (about ten minutes) I realized that my food order wasn't coming so walked over to the counter and stood there for what felt like five more minutes. I checked the app and seen that I placed the order at 9:19 am, and it was then 9:38 am. I guess I really looked upset because the same female from earlier asked if I was waiting on something else. I almost exploded because I knew I shouldn't have visited that store. I told her what I was waiting on and she went to work, which I truly appreciate now otherwise I'd still standing be at the counter being ignored. After a conversation with her coworkers , I was sluggishly approached by one of the food prep staff. At that point I started my stopwatch just to see how long it would take to make the rest of my order. In just over three minutes my order was done and proudly placed in my hands. No apology for the delay just, "Is there anything else." I almost said no but I was compelled to say something to someone in charge so I asked to speak with the manager which was a waist of life. OMG! I calmly explained my dilemma to her and she began setting up a refund for my order which I did not want. I was just happy that I finally got my order but I couldn't leave without expressing my concern. She explained to me how they screwed up. Based on her explanation, it was obvious to me that this was no solo incident and appeared to be a communication issue. Again she tried to give me my money back and I told her no and explained why. As I explained myself she looked back at her staff and gave me a high five like she was agreeing with me and letting them know, "Even he knows y'all garbage." Wow! I read the reviews prior to posting this and learned that I am not alone it seems that this manager has been allowing this staff to operate like this for a while. I refuse to pay these high ass food/coffee prices and receive funky service. I really like this store so I remain hopeful. I will try visiting in the evening before I render my verdict. I hope the owners or someone important read these post because the problem is not at all it's Starbucks it's this Starbucks . Please fix this. To be continued........ read more

They are kind of like Chick Fil A with the people they hire.. usually always top notch. Very sad when you run into someone like this that has an attitude. Someone with a lower class look on life that doesn't understand good customer service. I love Starbucks and enjoy their lattes and other drinks on occasion. But there are too many coffee shops around now days to put up with bad service. I hope this doesn't become part of Starbucks' norm. The girl at the window didn't acknowledge us at all just told us what the total was and closed the window. Proceeded to give me my order. One of my drinks was wrong. They were baffled why i wouldnt take the drink. Took 3 of them to ask me why it was wrong. I wanted white ice tea... they gave me something pink. I actually liked the way this place looks! New and refreshing however I just witness my drink made incorrectly. I asked for 1/2 caffeinated frappuccino. She measured milk into the pitcher directly and added all the stuff then realized I asked for it half caffeinated...pulled the shots into the the cup and dumped it in the already prepped pitcher. Consistently annoyed with this location. Always a 20 minute minimum wait in the drive thru. I order, get held hostage for 20 mins to arrive at the window and they are out of what I ordered. This location was just not what I've come to expect from Starbucks. The employees didn't seem to really want us there, and were impatient with us ordering. Aldo, the store was just really dirty. There was trash at almost every table (inside and outside), and food on the floor. When our food was ready, I went to get it. There was some food that I did see (just sitting there), so I picked it up and had all the food back at the table, and started to remove it from the bag. It was not our order, but someone else's (that was coming to pick it up). I took it back up there, and told the lady behind the counter what had happened. She just took it and put it back up there. I feel this is just unsanitary. I wouldn't want someone else's hands all over my food and cup before eating. I won't be visiting this location any time soon. We tried to give this Starbucks multiple chances - but it never fails - they are ALWAYS out of almost every lunch sandwich on the menu. I don't mind waiting in a long line to get what I want but it's so frustrating to get up there just to find out that you have to settle for your fourth or even fifth choice because they're out of everything. We were so hungry, we ate the item they did have like children being forced to eat their vegetables bc it was not good. The only reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is because they do have a very good cream cheese danish but I'm pretty sure all the starbucks do as well. Even if you no longer work at the establishment you shouldn't post your comments to other posts and should never ever talk bad about customers, I don't care if they were one of the rudest customers on earth. Just very disrespectful and kind of makes me look at this Starbucks as a negative if that's people they have hired. HOWEVER, I've been going through Drive thru and I will say I have had very nice employees. This store is constantly out of things I want to order or try to but I know they get a lot of people and they are always very nice about explaining they are out. My drinks have always tasted good and the food is good most the time too. One visit I did get an extremely stale donut....I had to throw it away. It wasn't even edible.
