The music was great. I woke up and came to Starbucks and Allison helped me out. She was so kind and fast, I was in and out. I can taste how much love was put into my coffee.

Hey Starbucks, please put out your cream, milk and other drink condiments again. And don't say it's about Covid because we know it isn't anymore. It's about control ($). You handled my personal mug to make my drink in (thank you) and many of your employees & customers aren't wearing masks anymore. So, it's not about Covid. Please put out your beverage condiments. Peets coffee is which is why I go there now. The employees at your location are lovely and hardworking. Please pass this message up the chain. Thank you

If you ever seen a shaken espresso, it's a really dark drink.

This is my first bad review. I used my points to get a shaken espresso but got a cup of milk and barley any espresso. I'm not so sure if they didn't know how to make it or what. I was a little confused when I looked at it and asked what it was. Whoever made it said "a shaken espresso" with attitude.

They use single origin light-medium roast beans at their coffee bar and sell bags for home, too. I only use their beans at home. Their quad-shot latte with whole milk is banger. Ps. This is the areas spot for just extremely good unadulterated espresso coffees, done right. No noobs.

We walked in as a family (me, husband, our baby) and while we were deciding what to order husband asked for the restroom code. The tall male employee looked us up and down and said so, you gonna buy some coffee? Husband said yes...why? The employee said "I just need to know if you're planning on buying something or just here to use the restroom . " Why would we come up to the counter , peruse the menu and bring the baby inside if that was our only goal? It was so off-putting. Anyhoo, the interior was nice all black and some sort of rock/ metal playing. There's magnetic tiles to Create your own conspiracy or statement and other conspiracy type decor . I got a 5G is killing our bees which was nice and smooth flavored espresso drink and husband tried the NZT 49 which he liked. but only thing is we regretted not trying a black cold brew or shot of espresso to really taste their coffee. Maybe next time. And hopefully next time that particular employee will chill out a little bit on their restroom. Might I add, this was my 2nd attempt to go to this location. The first time they were randomly closed at 1230pm. Wish they would at least post a heads-up online or something.

It's not a huge shop, but there's enough seating to sit and enjoy your drink. Drinks were really well done, my favorite was Our Frother. Everything tasted balanced and thoughtfully made. You can always appreciate the laid-back being anywhere in Santa Cruz or Capitola. They are right on a main street with parking in the back and they have a cute outside seating area with chairs and umbrellas. It's a pretty large and nice size coffee shop with ample seating and an extended couch/booth area. They have a lot of outlets to do work quietly or to read or charge your phone. I really like that they close at 6 PM too a lot of coffee shops close at three or four. If you're here long enough and haven't eaten, they sell food and snacks. Also a pretty good option of beverages like coconut water, soda, waters, and smoothies, or plain sodas. You can come in and get a soup or some cookies, a protein bar, or, some bagels- they legit have it all. I haven't tried anything food or coffee wise, but my Italian soda is pretty delicious. The two cashiers were really nice and everyone just seems to be on the best chill vibes. I will definitely save this place and return in the future. Their specialty coffees look delicious and are just my vibe and I can't wait to try them when the weather gets colder.
