They have a varied menu with lots of healthy options including accommodating gluten free or vegetarian friends. The star of this location is the very clever giant umbrella which covers the entire patio of more than 12 tables. The umbrella can be retracted making for a great outdoor atmosphere in any weather. At night they light up the patio with romantic tiki torches. Fresh fruit juices and creative coffees in the daylight give way to creative cocktails and sangrias as the day goes on. They will usually serve you their awesome eggs Benedict any time of the day even if they're no longer cooking off the breakfast menu. It's one of the better places to enjoy a poached egg in the city. They also have some more locally inspired brunch options. The salads and wrap sandwiches are not quite as gourmet as the prices would lead you to believe, but the atmosphere generally makes up for it. In the past I had some issues with service being slow and forgetful, but they've changed the waitstaff lineup and since then I've had a great time. They often have someone who can speak English if needed. The patio space is dog friendly. And the downstairs of the indoor space has super comfy seating for a chat over coffee or relaxing drink after work.

They have palm trees around tables, and even a sun umbrella on all tables, I know it sounds cliché since that part the coffee shop still within the mall premises and it is covered, but it gives a sense of being outside the mall and out from all that crowd. Coffees are great and fruit juices as well. Go and chill!

There was a beautiful looking tiramisu in the case, and I know that is not made primarily with whipped cream... except here!! Yuck. 3/4 of it is still on my plate in a sweet fluffy pile. And possibly worse, the tiramisu had no taste of liquor whatsoever. Very sad. For the price, I was hoping it would be authentic. The coffee (and happily, the cookie that came with it) was very good, which saved the rating slightly. Unless you're in the mood for piles of cream, skip the cakes and have a coffee.

They still give you a paper cup and sleeve in a disposable cup , however refuse to give you a lid. The major problem with this is if your working on your laptop /iPad and spill the coffee. I asked if they would pay for my laptop if I spilled my coffee in it for not having a lid and they just starred at my blankly . They told me I could only have a lid of it was for Togo and I said "ok it's to go" then I took my coffee with lid and tried to use the bathroom and they told me my coffee was to go, and I could not go inside the sit down area where the bathroom is with a lid. This is a lid I'm talking about, not a weapon of mass destruction! Since when are kids forbidden in Starbucks ! On the plus side this is a very nice Starbucks from a layout point of view, with lots of natural sunlight and a nice outdoor area

Though not as fast as a U.S. s'bux the service here is top notch. They usually have someone on staff who can speak a little English though I don't really think it's needed as the menu items are all the same. It was a great place to practice my Portuguese when I first arrived in Brasil, as they are used to lots of foreigners coming in and hence very forgiving in their comprehension. Unfortunately the food at all Starbucks in Brasil is even worse than in the US as they have none of the healthy options. Cakes and cookies can sometimes get stale sitting in the case, and the sandwiches are made with that kind of spineless bread that smushes to fully flat with a light touch. On the plus side the drinks are solid and after two years they've never gotten my order wrong. The draw of this location is that it's one of the best cafes for working in the area. The two level layout, reliable free wifi, large amount of tables with outlets and giant windows which let in ample light coupled with friendly service and consistent cleanliness make this a really enjoyable place to use a laptop.
